This small and compact Blu-ray Rewriter is of great quality and easy to use. I connected the USB cable and installed the media software and it works flawless.

My previous Blu-Ray Disc Drive bit the dust, so I purchased this one as a replacement. Works great so far!

This was a great product to buy. My laptop does not have a drive, and this allows me to watch movies, install software, download on to writeable disks, etc. Glad I got it.

Is fantastic for those who watch and burn blu-ray disk on laptops that don't have dvd's in them. Works great have had no problems with it.

I needed a Blu Ray writer to rip discs to my hard drive to stream on my home network. This worked great and I enjoy the fact that it is portable.

This helped me rip blu-rays so that I can easily put them into my iTunes! And yes it totally works with my Mac using MakeMKV!

Connected to my Surface Pro 3, works just fine. I'm able to watch movies as well as burn files, which was my primary purpose for purchasing it. Connected it and within moments it was ready to be used.

We purchased 2 apple SuperDrives for our laptops. Both SuperDrives will not allow you to insert a disc unless we connect the SuperDrive to a desktop. There is some issue with not enough power from the USB ports on the laptops and I’ve tried it on multiple MacBook pros and a dell windows laptop and the same issue happens. The LG dvd drives not only work perfectly they come with a “Y” usb cable that allows you to connect a second USB port to provide extra power to the drive for faster read and write speeds. Don’t buy the Apple SuperDrive these LG drives are way better and they can write Blu-ray Discs too.

Enables me to use my desktop app o view blue ray cd’s, with earplugs, and not disturb my wife!

This drive works very well for blu-ray and DVDs. I used it with around 400 movies using MakeMKV over the course of about 2 weeks. Performs very well and reliably.

my second blue ray writer, use it a lot, the other just wore out from 5-6 years use. very good unit, trouble free

good compact blu-ray. been using for blu-ray player its fine. not tried writing performance.

This little Blu-Ray reader/writer is an excellent product for those with no optical drives in the computers at home/office. Plugs in using USB connection. Software load is easy and intuitive. This product is usable on Apple (Mac's) products and Microsoft-based computers making it very versatile! Plug it in, watch a movie; back-up all your pictures and music (or whatever else you want to!). (I am using it on both a Mac-mini and a Window's based PC)

LG still makes Life Good. A perfect purchase for what I needed it for.

It works with the laptop that I purchased it for and we haven’t had any problems as of yet, so I can recommend it to that extent alone.

I was sort of skeptical of purchasing an external writer vs an internal because I have a laptop. This thing is durable, it stands up to me anyways. I was worried about power for the writer because reviews have said they need a lot of power. More than one USB port worth. This comes with a splitter cable with dual source male ends to use two ports for power and data transfer. Fast writer. Haven't tried blue ray yet but don't expect any problems.
