Needed an external drive for my Asus. Good product. Works very well!

Great accessory for my laptop. I can buy here and not have to buy at apple store with long lines.

This will run with a USB C expansion port multiplier on a MSI Delta 15 laptop. The unit uses a dual USB cable so 2 ports next to each other or a USB extension cable for 1 plug is needed on 2 port only laptops. The unit was recognized in Windows 10 immediately and the software installed with no problems from the unit. The unit is very light weight and thin so this is not a "rugged" unit but still well built.

LG product has exceeds my expectations. The item was affordable and with the price match, it cost me less than $90. You can't find any blu-ray writer for that price.

very happy. I have wanted one of these since my son introduced me to the dvd free digital world.

Although they are getting rare... for those of us that still need to use these things.... this is a great one to have. I have had no problems with it at all.

Just plug in the cable and it works. Very slim to bring with my notebook

The mouses is just a mouse but the external blueray DVD drive is fantastic. It rips music CDs in about three minutes a piece and is extremely quiet to operate.

Works pretty great! One issue is if you aren't careful it might scratch your discs. I found that if you make sure the player is on a flat surface and isn't moved it helps, and if you place the player upside down it practically has no risk.

The drive works great and plays Blu-Ray disk fine with just one of the two USB plus attached to my Dell laptop. I suspect if I were to try and burn a disk I might need to use the second USB connector to provide sufficient power. That leads to my only complaint. MY laptop like many these days only has one USB port per side and the attached cables are too short to allow connecting the disk to multiple ports on my computer without the addition of an extension cable.

Works as advertised. I’ve loaded software and watched blu-ray movies. Drive has performed flawlessly.

I wanted to watch a DVD and there was no drive so I had to purchase an external so that I could watch it. It’s a must snd super compact.

bought a new laptop as a "solid state", still new to streaming...bought this during tax season for our Turbo Tax.

It worked good to see a program on DVD to my laptop.

I wanted a way to play Blu-Ray's on my laptop and this thing has worked great! Very few times does my computer not recognize the disc, but other than that, it's perfect.

If you're like me and travel often and has downtime however can't bring a standard blu ray player with you this is a great deal. Although it's pricy the quality is pretty good. If you don't travel often i'd reccomend avoiding this. I think you can burn movies onto the pc that it uses but i don't bother with that. This device uses 2 usb ports one for power and the other for data so ensure your computer has 2 usb ports on the same side of the computer to connect to. I use this pretty often and i'm sure i'll be using this device for a lifetime! 5/5 would buy another one again in a heartbeat

A good all-around external optical device. The reason it's not 5 stars is because the cord is set up to plug into 2 USB ports. New laptops only have 1 USB port per side so you can only plug in one. It seems to work fine with only 1 plugged in but I still take a star away for causing confusion by shipping with a 2 USB cord. A bit expensive though.

I mainly use this to save old home brew DVDS to bluray. Had these in my closet for years. Saving some to HD, but for things that I don't want to trust to the nature of cheap usb drives I burn to a more stable type of storage. Watching the occasional movie on blu on my computer is nice also. The double cable is a bit of a drag but not really a bother once you get started. No problems so far

This one was pricier than others, but it's definitely worth it over the long run, since it has a large range of possibilities ... as well as being light & easy to use.
