Purchased this to use on my surface i havent tied it out yet on the surface but have tried it on my desk top computer works great

had a lot of photos and information on a DVD and it was difficult for me because my new PC does not have a DVD player , it is a very modern video game machine , with this wonderful DVD I connect very well and I was able to have everything I wanted so I feel happy .

I decided to return this drive. It was very loud when reading disks to a point where it's hard to enjoy a movie you're watching.

Easy to use disk. I have not burned a disk yet. Uses two USB ports. Nice features on accessory disk.

Very easy to set up. This also has a good software program included.

Easy to use. And the communication between the two technologies worked great. The movie played great through my computer with both picture and sound.

I will add to the warnings that you need two close by USB drives to use this drive for Blu-Rays; per the instructions you only need on USB for playing DVD but I have not tried this. Was able to play Blu-Ray, but the main challenge is to find the program for Windows to play Blu-Ray, keep that in mind that this drive only solves half the problem.

Got it for a Mac, but be aware that the software that is included is only compatible with Windows. Other than the very helpful LG customer service rep who basically told me I was on my own, it's been ok. Have not burned anything yet. Rips fine with third party software. Oh, you have to find it on your own, but once you find one it might work.....first three didn't. Using MacX DVD ripper.

I've used this twice since buying it, both times asking the person on the other end if they can hear me ok, and both said yes.

It plays my blu-ray discs perfectly!! I like it and it's good quality. It doesn't feel cheap.

Works pretty great! One issue is if you aren't careful it might scratch your discs. I found that if you make sure the player is on a flat surface and isn't moved it helps, and if you place the player upside down it practically has no risk.
