    I purchased this to rip my Blu-ray collection and was surprised how quickly I was able to complete each disc. The DVD speeds were slower however compared to another DVD-only drive that I had so it won't completely replace it. I would recommend to not install the software in the box if it can be avoided. The Cyberlink PowerDVD software auto-launches everytime a disc is put in the drive which can get annoying since I was not watching the movies and ripping. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

    worked perfectly, hooked up to laptop and chose tv as screen and watched great movie. hooked it up directly to tv and it was better.
