Sturdy external DVD rewriter

I have dropped it twice when I was transferring it while attached to the usb and laptop. Keeps on working without a ding or defect to show for the hits. There were some complaints about the usb requiring a provided tandem attachment (two usb ports to make it run). I have not seen that necessity. So, one cord one usb in laptop (although the provided cord has the attached y connected usb). The LG does a good job, is sturdy and looks good (dark blue/gray)

LG Bluray

The new computer I purchased from fingerhut doesn't come with that but it's a big tower and has lots of memory and power. I enjoy watching my movies on my computer and I also still buy software that's on cd's; which the LG bluray also helps me with a lot. So I can say I'm a satisfied customer and I hope Best Buy is around for a long time. Thank you

Player works in Windows 8.1 and OSX
