Works, lightweight, not too noisy, not too slow, don't need it very often, but when I do, it does the job

Easy installation and great price. Serves my needs perfectly.

My son was building a computer and we inadvertently ordered our version of Windows on CD. Once I realized this, I ran to Best Buy to grab this CD/DVD player. It worked great. I didn’t have to do anything to set it up, just plug and go. Small. Lightweight. Easy to use. My kind of a product.

This DVD/CD player runs smooth and handles all CD's and DVD's so far.

Since laptops today do not come equipped with an internal DVD drive, you must rely solely on the Internet to download everything. Some of us have CDs or DVDs full of pictures or videos, for example, so that makes uploading that material impossible unless you have an external USB DVD drive. This LG 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD or CD rewritable drive a must-have item. It connects easily via USB and is instantly recognized as a disc drive. Copying files from a CD or DVD is easy, and since the price is so reasonable, this LG drive is cheap insurance to ensure that you are able to utilize important files and photos that can't be downloaded.

Tiny and unobstrusive. For the 69 year old that still makes a playlist at Christmas for a few friends and burns it on a CD. I also still have CDs that I love to play. Stuff I haven't loaded into my iTunes.

Super compact and easy to use. Bought this item so I could download one of my favorite software programs from a CD to a new Surface Pro that does not have any disc drive. Worked perfectly and took little time to set up. The USB connection worked like a charm and the price was reasonable and really too good to pass up.

Works great so far. Have mainly used it with DVDs and it's also pretty quiet while it is running. Was able to plug it into my Mac's USB port and start using it very quickly. Also, I think it's a great value since I'm sure buying a CD/DVD Drive from Apple would have been much more expensive.

Laptops don’t come with CD-ROM drives anymore, but I want one for some of the things I do. This one is straightforward and does what I bought it for.

Works precisely how I needed it to. The only struggle I had with it, was to get my desktop to recognize the disc in the player. Worked great with my laptop and allows me to get the work done with some dated resources!

Thos worked exactly how i expected. I bought it, to copy music to a thumb drive for my car. Worked just fine.

This device was priced well, worked right out of the box and is quick and easy. I played video from a DVD and it works great, no skipped frames. It looks sleek, takes little time to get started. I'm very pleased with this device.

Since new computers no longer seem to have a built-in DVD+RW/CD-RW drive, I needed this in order to load old programs I own on CD to my new PC. Easy to use -- just plug it into a USB port. Works as intended!

Easy to install. Works well with CDs. I haven't tried it with DVDs or RWs yet so no opinion there. It's very light so you would do well to use some double-faced tape to hold it in place. Not bad for the price.

I remmeebr shelling out hundreds in the past lol this lil guy is amazing. Works right out of the box. Used it on my raspberry pi, and ahhhh so great to just see things work.

I have not used my DVD player extensively so far, but I have played some of my favorite music with it, and it has been great. I'm glad I got this along with my computer.
