great, small and affordable. I was able to view my old photos I saved onto a disc. Easy to use and operate.

plug and play and it works perfectly. just a nice cheap addition to my newer PC that doesn't have a drive. cuz I still have a lot of CDs and I like to put my music on my iTunes

I wanted a CD/DVD drive to use with my Asus Transfomer 2-1 netbook. I only had one USB, this drive only requires one available USB port. I checked mostly LG and chose the SP80NB80 based on positive reviews and bestbuy price. For me it was plug and play, but Windows 10 does not have a DVD player. I did not use the included software but chose to download free VLC Media Player and it works perfectly. I have played CDs and DVDs without any problems. Picture and Sound are perfect and the drive is quiet. I am very happy with my choice and would recommend to anyone looking for a portable external USB CD/DVD drive.

Purchased this for importing CDs onto my 2020 iMac and it's perfect. I previously had the (overpriced) Apple Super Drive would randomly reject CDs and tell me they weren't recognized or would end up recording skipping/crackling artifacts onto the audio tracks. It was also super loud. This LG is the complete opposite. It's positioned at a fair price, super quiet, sleek, imports CDs quickly and I am amazed at how it is able to import some of my CDs and render over any little scratches that would play as skipping noises on the Apple CD Drive previously mentioned. The only con I can think of with the LG is that it does seem to pick up fingerprints easily but nothing that can't be wiped off. Very happy!

Works exactly as advertised and for a fair price. Idiot-proof plug and play. Needed one to record some old DVDs before donating. Will keep it handy just in case I come across any more during my stay-at-home reorganizing frenzy.

Nice little "add on" for watching movies on my TV. This was well priced and I have had no problems with this product. LG has always been one of my first choices for any computer products.

This dvd/cd player works very well. Immediately it started to work without downloading any drivers. It is very quiet, small, and light so usable basically anywhere. The down side is I bought this to watch movies on my laptop, however it is without a program to play movies, so a 10-30$ program must be bought on top of it.

Tiny and unobstrusive. For the 69 year old that still makes a playlist at Christmas for a few friends and burns it on a CD. I also still have CDs that I love to play. Stuff I haven't loaded into my iTunes.

Started using LG brands in the last 5 years but so far they've been pretty reliable and competitive. It's lightweight and easy to pack for last minute movie-nights . The price wasn't bad.
