Fast : gets the job done. I was skeptic about using LG but realized it’s good .. it’s slim and installs quick. Gets the CD running in seconds ..

Works great for that once and awhile when you still need to read/write a CD or DVD. Tested on a windows PC with no extra installs needed. Wouldn’t trust it for heavy usage but the build quality seems solid enough.

Good price for something I won't need to use a lot but required for installation of some software. I love how thin it is and works perfectly with the new all in one that I purchased recently.

Works great!! When I first tried it I didn’t know if it was ‘stuck’ as it wasn’t showing progress on my iTunes and stayed there until it moved to download the next song. It’s just a little slow, so have patience.

I'm the type of person that typically will look to non-name brands when it comes to smaller electronics like this one. However, after two other disc drives just simply not working, I eventually bit the bullet and got this one. Plugged it in, and it immediately showed up in Windows Explorer. I got this on a pretty significant sale (I think it was around $20 at the time of my purchase), and at that price, it's pretty comparable to some of the approximately $15 drives I had tried before. If you can get it at a similar price, you'll have something that you'll (hopefully know will work with no fuss.

This disc drive was very convenient, light weight, and easy to use. Im always on the go so it helps that this isnt bulky and heavy

Works great. Paired with my Mac, no problem. I get to see and hear some nostalgic movies and music that are not available on streaming platforms

I wanted a basic DVD player to use occasionally on my Mac and the Apple version was a little pricey for my limited use. Saw this one on the Best Buy web site and gave it a shot. It was simple to install, just plug it in and the Mac recognized it. It plays the DVDs without any problems, which is exactly what I wanted. I have not tried burning CDs or DVDs, but I didn't buy it for that. As well as it worked playing them, I wouldn't expect any problem with that function. If you want a good player at a great price, this player is an excellent choice. You won't be disappointed.

I LOVE this drive as it does exactly what I needed and what it was promised to do! Admittedly I was at first worried that this wouldn't work because of some of the negative reviews I've read online but it worked flawlessly for me. Granted I'm only using it to import all of my CDs that accidently got deleted from my iPod Nano from iTunes, but it operated just fine as my computer,an Inspiron 17,was able to detect it without any issue or extra steps. Though the instructions were not helpful at all in the setup as all I did was plug it into the USB port, thanks to a tip from another person who bought this drive as well.

Works well, recognized quickly as I plugged into USB, wide variety of formats read... just wish it could read BR as it'd be nice to have on the road to play movies etc. Only takes 1 USB as well which is nice to conserve limited ports on a lappy

It's very lightweight and responds very quickly. It comes with a media disc that you can use to install drivers and some free software as well. Runs on a standard micro-USB cable.
