Rip baby rip get all of those old CD's onto the computer even if you have a hard time it can be fixed

It worked fine on my old Lenovo but can’t figure out how to get it to work on my new HP

Love this device! It was hard to decide on a unit due to such mixed reviews on all products found. Daughter recommended this one and we could not be happier! I like to buy the cd for some music as we have a player at camp. The LG does a speedy job ripping albums to phones, iPads, etc., for Bluetooth playing. Also have a ton of photo cds to transfer pictures when needed. Have been using this since April 2021, so 9 months, with no problems!

More and more laptops and PCs are releasing without disc drives. This lets you still use discs, and you only have to pull it out when needed. This also works on Linux. This paired with VLC media player let me watch DVD movies in Linux Mint.

This is a value DVDRW if you need to backup files and write at an 8x speed which is ok. I purchased this to do backups of files I wanted to store locally in my safe. It is compatible with standard DVD writing software and met my needs. It also looks cool.

My college student loves it. They just installed a little ap onto their laptop, which they said was very easy, and within 10 minutes it was up and running. It’s small enough to tuck in a college drawer or use next to their laptop when needed. They like it better than getting a laptop with a built-in DVD which makes it bulkier and heavier. Adds to the overall expense but they like it this way better (of course I am paying for it, but it was not that expensive).

Compact and easy to set up. This player/recorder is a great way to utilize all of your CD's or DVD's, at home or on the road. Very lightweight and easy to carry along.

The drive works as promised. It is small and easy to use. The only complaint is the drive should have a storage area for the cord. It has several software packages included. The software is basic and you will need to pay extra to get the full versions.

Let's face it, removing the DVD drive from an ultrabook took off a pound and made it slimmer, but there are still occasions when having a DVD drive is really nice. Whether it's loading older software, old archives, or just playing a DVD from Redbox on vacation, it's nice to have. This drive works well, plays nicely with Windows and Linux, and plays DVD's using vlc. It's small enough that you can shove it into a backback when travelling and not have to carry it everywhere you take the laptop. Nice solution.

This external reader/writer is quiet and easy to use. Highly recommended!

PLEASE ignore their related software/programs - they can drive you crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Instead, plug this device into your computer, go to File Explorer create another window, then just drag and drop your stuff into the EasyStore designator. Once my super-geek brother set me straight, I was copying files within 5 minutes. (I had wasted over an hour leaping about with "Jason" in India regarding some elaborate "cloud" related software.) SHEESH !!!!!! OTHERWISE - TERRIFIC DEVICE !

The LG performs perfectly. It’s small and lightweight. It’s quick and easy to install. And so very quiet. Great item for the money.

Once in a while I still need a DVD player/burner. This is very thin and light, no drivers are needed. It can get a bit noise, but not terribly. A good value for the money.

Computer didn't have a drive for CD/DVD and needed to load software. This worked so well!
