small, fairly quiet and works great. if you need to read or burn a dvd or cd, this one will do it.

Easy installation and works very fast. Just need to run the attached cd program to install (easy)

Great portable hi speed DVD writer that is easy to use with automatic install and quick connection to virtually any PC with USB cable.

My new computer did not come with a DVD or CD drive, so I purchased this and I am very happy with it! It is very small, lightweight, and easy to use :-)

This allows me to access my files on CD-roms and play my movies/DVD’s. It works well and easy to connect to my MacBook Pro.

Plug and play unit. Runs my old CD games on my computer without any issues/problems. Tested and it also plays my DVD with great picture. No complaints

If you need an external writer that's powered off USB, then this is what you want. It's not the fastest drive in the world, but then again, it's powered by USB, it's slim, it's easy to carry around, and doesn't require an external power supply. It does exactly what you want, in the form factor you want. What more is there to possibly say about this thing? I guess you wouldn't want to throw it around, run it over with your car, or sit on it, as it's not rugged, and is just black plastic. It probably won't win any beautiful design awards, but it's great for what it is.

My only real complaint is that you have to buy software to watch a DVD. Cheap price, but the software ends up more than the drive itself.

I have used this for about four weeks now and it is an excellent LG CD player. I use it to listen to audio books while on my computer. I have not use to write, or DVD yet. I'm confident that it will work as well for that as well. I'm keeping the box till the return time has expired should anything messes up. For $30 what a Buy at Best Buy. Right.

This DVD burner/reader produces clean DVDs and CDs at a reasonable price. This is the second one I have purchased as my daughter uses the other one now.

The disc drive works well. The price was very good and it interfaced well with my laptop computer. I like the size, easy to carry

My new computer and laptop did not have one, so i got this one and it was easy to use, just plug it in and it starts working. Plays movies and all my music cd's. Works on both devices. Got it at a very good price.

This unit worked well and recorded CDs as needed...

I bought this when I found out that the Apple external disc drive requires an additional plug for connection to the Apple device - to function. This product is all-in-one and functions immediately without need for downloading software to your computer. Very good product that supports all my needs.

Fast, compact, and works with my surface pro 6 (other CD drives I’ve tried were incompatible but this one works fine)!

I know it is old tech but this is perfect for what I wanted. I still buy CDs because I like to have a physical copy. The drive is so I can digitize them. This works on both my Mac and my PC with no issues.
