Originally purchased Apple's version, but I had trouble getting it to work with my Windows laptop. I returned it and picked this up for a lot cheaper. It easily works with my Mac and Windows.

My new desktop did not come with a slot to install an internal DVD drive so I bought this so I could install some of my older programs that were on DVD & CD. This was more cost effective than purchasing an external enclosure box to install one of my existing internal DVD drive I had laying around.

Do not buy this dvd player. It is a bait and switch con job. Cyberlink media requires you to buy a subscription after trial date otherwise it will not work

This is a great dvd player and it is really good. At first I didn’t think I was going to use it that much in my kids room. We start watching my fave oldies on DVD

The portable external CD Rom drive worked perfect for my application to work from home and I was very pleased that I ordered it on line and was able to pick it up at the front of the store and did not have to go in the store to pick it up which caused me to have much less exposure to the virus or other sickness.
