After spending 30 mins trying to download their software and playing through tutorials, I gave up. Maybe this is good for burning CDs, but it does not work as a DVD player, as the Best Buy employee told me it would.

I purchased this to use with my Surface Book 2, and it is an easy plug-n-play accessory. The speed is decent, I didn't have to do anything special to get it to work, it was compatible, it's inexpensive and came with everything I needed to use it out of the box.
