When I bought this machine, they promised a price match and for the last 3 days, this is my 7th call and no luck. BestBuy cheated me with the Price Match joke this thanksgiving. Will not buy any item from Best Buy

Doesn't auto dispense detergent and leaning on it to reach shelves above it activates functions, beeps, and shuts off drying.

I bought this as an open box item. It was very loud during the spin cycle.

Love this dryer! It had a wide variety of drying options, the capacity is enormous which helps dry things fast, love the design of the lint filter and the way it opens makes it so much easier to clean, and it makes very little noise. The tune it plays at the end is fun and I can hear it on the other side of the house, so I know when the load is done. The two men that came out set it up efficiently, tested to make sure it worked properly, and helped me understand how it worked. I only wish I had bought the pedestal. Would recommend this to anyone!

It starts ok, during rinsing at the end of the cycle it starts shaking and making a extremely loud noise. Use for a couple of times. I continue washing my clothes outside

Was excited to get this dryer. Not so smart. Sent back after 1 day: 1. The wifi will only work if you remember to push the wifi connect button before you walk away. In other words, if you load laundry but forget to push the wifi connect button and are across the house you will need to go back to the machine to effectuate it. Defeats the purpose of wifi. 2. It has a LOT of run options, but those options are fixed, e.g., the bedding option will only run on a certain temperature. You cannot alter that temperature. Ditto for all of the other pre set options. 3. The only way to change the preset setting is to chose one of the 2 manual settings. 4. You have to push the add time . . . and wait as it adds 1 minute, then another minute, then another minute. Laundry is not an experience I want to make longer. Adding extra time for 6 loads a day will cost me 3-5 minutes of my life daily. That's over 25 hours a year. 5. When the load is finished . . . and you put in the next load. You have to chose your settings ALL OVER AGAIN. It does not just pick up from the last set of settings. I don't want to have to select several settings every time I dry a load of clothes. 6. Seemingly dries fast. 7. List screen is fully enclosed which results in less lint heading towards your exhaust venting. 8. Dark color is nice, but it makes the control options difficult to see versus a white back ground with dark letters. 9. Huge capacity. For the money . . . going back.

I purchased this unit 2 months ago. Definitely an investment but well worth it! This unit is much larger than I anticipated. It has minimized our laundry time. I had to adjust the door which took quite a bit of time. The only issue I have was being forced to purchase a new vent kit and when the technician who installed the unit arrived for the delivery he didn't even bother to use it. But overall I really love this machine!

I bought the Washer, Dryer and Sidekick. Ran through several loads so far and really love the cleaning results. The WiFi setup; however, was not well documented and complicated. I ended up holding down the WiFi connect button and then searching on my iPhone for the Washer/Dryer WiFi connection (doing each one separately) - looked up my network settings for the gateway and plugged the gateway IP in the browser which took me to the network config page for the item... This finally get the device online and connected to SmartThinQ. The App, what a terrible effort, it has not been updated since 2014 and clearly does not yet support either product (at least on the iPhone). I found a PDF for LG's Home Chat which is a service through an app called "LINE" - downloaded and noticed it could add my Dryer but not the Washer... have not yet tried it, but it would be nice if I could tell when a cycle was finished since my pair are in the basement. Tried via the website and it constantly fails on the Washer - cannot upload onto either device pre-programmed wash/dry settings from the website - it just goes to a page cannot be found. The Sidekick, only have had the pair up and running since this last week and have only tried this with one load. It is small (as expected) so really only useful when you have a small load - like a single outfit or what not. Also, in case you are wondering, the Sidekick does not have WiFi integration. The steam function on the Dryer, experimented with this - it basically squirts water on the clothes, there is a sanitary steam function which eventually turns the squirting water into steam - have not had a reason to try this yet so not sure how well this function works. But it does seem to squirt/spray what seems like a lot of water... [based on an empty drum] I may seem highly critical, but for this price point I would have expected everything promoted about these devices to work out of the box. Once they do, and I can be upstairs and my phone tells me to transfer the wash to the dryer or that it's time to fold the laundry, then I will be excited about my purchase! Because these are otherwise pretty great!

I chose this LG dryer because is very energy efficient and so far one month in I have had no problems. Very simple use and quiet as well.

We did a remodel and after much research we landed on this pair washer/dryer with pedestals. A year after purchase and we are still happy. This machines are twice as fast as our top load washer and standard dryer. We would recommend and buy again.
