Sub is defective and makes random noises. LG won't replace it. Not sure if this is because its so new and needs firmware worked out or a physical issue...still poor for LGs top bar.

Hi, Matt. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Soundbar (S95AR) model. We understand your concern about dealing with a subwoofer making random noises—especially on a flagship soundbar designed to deliver immersive, premium audio. We strive to deliver high-quality products that exceed expectations.
If you're hearing popping, crackling, or disconnect sounds, try re-pairing the subwoofer by pressing and holding the pairing button on the back until the LED blinks rapidly. Then, hold the mute button on the remote for about 3 seconds until “WL RESET” appears. This should help improve the connection and reduce interference.
We want to ensure you get the performance you expect. Feel free to message us privately on social media @LGUSSupport to explore replacement or service options. We’re here to help. ^Juvy

Just picked up the LG OLED65G5, which—hands down—is the best TV I’ve ever owned. I’ve used a Samsung S90C OLED before (which was solid), but the G5 is just on another level in terms of picture quality and design. While I was at the store, the blue shirt (shout out to Best Buy) strongly recommended pairing it with LG’s S95AR soundbar, and I’m glad I listened.
I was previously running a Sonos Arc setup with no complaints—great sound, sleek design—but I decided to switch after hearing the WOW Orchestra demo and learning that LG includes both the powerful subwoofer and rear speakers in the same box. That’s a massive value win right there. No need to buy extra components to get full surround sound.
From unboxing to setup, the experience was smooth. Everything paired seamlessly with the G5 TV, and the WOW Orchestra mode genuinely blew me away—it feels like the TV and soundbar are working together, not just in sync, but as a unified audio powerhouse. The rear speakers elevate the immersive effect, and the bass from the subwoofer is deep and punchy without being overwhelming.
If you’re looking for a premium home theater upgrade and already going LG for the TV, the S95AR is a no-brainer. It saved me money compared to building out a full Sonos system, and honestly, the soundstage feels wider and more dynamic—especially with Dolby Atmos content.

Good quality but the sound bar came with a dent in the screen. The box wasnt damaged so seems like it came like that but who knows. For the price you would think it would be pristine.
