I haven’t purchased an LG product in forever and decided to get the OLED top line TV and this soundbar to rock out the living room. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Best Buy did me right and comped a Geek Squad visit to set it up. We tried everything we could think of. The end result was always the same. Virtually no bass. I think the Geek Squad tried every possible combination of settings to try to make it function as expected. For the price I paid, one would think the woofer would have a way to boost the bass. When doing the AI sound check, the bass is awesome. Once that test is done, nothing. It was like listening to a 2 way 6 1/2” speaker with surround sound. It just doesn’t make sense. We even set the TV and the soundbar back to factory specs a couple of times to try other ways to get it to work. You would think that an LG TV and LG Soundbar would rock but that’s not what happened. Took both the TV and soundbar back to Best Buy and went with Samsung. The soundbar from Samsung wasn’t the top of the line because we spent more on the TV in the package. It provided more bass, but nothing earth shattering. However, once the sales hit, we upgraded to the top of the line soundbar from Samsung and finally achieved the bass response we expected. This replaced a 10 plus year old Bose home theater and we expected to surpass that performance. Once we got to the top line products to compare like level products, the Samsung rocked, the Bose kicked butt, and the LG was not in the same league. If you want your pictures to rattle during action sequences on the TV, this soundbar is not for you. I wish it lived up to the hype but my experience left me feeling buyer’s remorse.

Great sound but has compatibility issues with Sony TVs and Apple TV. It had video problems sometimes with Apple tv directly connect to it and didn’t receive audio from Sony tv eARC, although tv works with other soundbars and receivers
