I wish i had bought them at the same time as the machines because it was quite difficult to lift the washer on top of it. But bestbuy.com didn't offer the selection for in home installation. Now that they are here, I appreciate not having to crawl in the W/D to get the last socks. If i had have the budget, i'd have gone with the higher pedestal but even though this one is lower, it still does the job.

I can still use the surface of the washer/ dryer to fold clothes and reach the cabinets above them. The pedestal is made of heavy duty plastic and was easy to install (with two people). So glad I made this purchase!

The drawer pedestals were too tall for my space, and at first I thought I would just save my money and get nothing. Changed my mind to get the ADA height ones, and I love them. They really make a difference on access to the clothes in my washer and dryer.

Without it, the washer would be on the ground which is way too low for anyone, very uncomfortable to retrieve laundry. Wish it was about 3 inches higher though. I had the 14" pedestal before and it was perfect for my 5 foot height. Didn't get it this time as I wanted to use the top of the washer as another counter work surface.
