Works as expected-but dog scared subwoofer

We had to unplug the subwoofer as our dog gets anxious when the sound is louder. The TV/ sound-bar volume controls get a little confusing with what remotes work for what volume but overall sound seems good.

Was skeptical about getting this particular sound bar due to some negative reviews, but I’m so glad I purchased it! The sound is great and the Dolby Atmos sounds amazing! I got this on sale for $499 if you can get it for that price, it’s a steal! If I could recommend anything it’s that you use the hdmi arc connection to your tv.

This sound bar just enhances the abilities of my new 65 inch LG 4K OLED Smart TV. The quality of the sound bar and woofer make you fell like your in the movie or at the game, with the best seat in the house. I have no complaints, but I plan to add the other additional rear speaker to complete my entire TV watching experience.

I bought this sound bar along with the two sub speakers which LG offers making it a 5.1.2 channel sound bar. It has amazing sound quality with Dolby Atoms and DTS that enhance your surround sound experience. It is nothing less than the huge home theater speakers and sub woofers. I would totally recommend this product.

The store had this LG sound bar displayed with an 65 in. OLED. I had just purchased this same TV. The sound bar is sitting on a cabinet right in front of the TV, that is what I wanted to do with this bar.
I purchase and am reading the setup instructions and they explain you can either mount on the wall which I was not going to do, or put right in front of the TV on the cabinet. I get everything unpacked and the boxes out side. I set the sound bar on the cabinet in front of the TV, try to turn on the TV and guess what the sound bar is to tall, it blocks the little port that the remote uses to turn the TV on. To me this is poor design by LG both the TV for not putting the little port the remote need remote needs toward the outer edge like Samsung does or make the sound bar thinner. They could also tell you that it will not work in front of these very expensive OLED TVs when not mounted on the wall. Also was told this has Bluetooth so I could play music from my phone. I asked this question before I purchased as I was looking at a different sound bar and was told no Bluetooth. This was what I had told the salesman I wanted in a sound bar.
As it turns out it has Bluetooth but you have to install I think it was Google home to use it. I do not want Google home and as such can not use this sound bar to listen to my music.
This sound bar now sits on a pulled out drawer on the cabinet below the TV and looks like crap, very unprofessional. I will now have to either mount everything on the wall which I will have to pay for as I can not do this by myself or get a completely new TV console that has a space below that the sound bar can fit in without looking like a hack job install.
Overall for the price not worth it.

You can use bluetooth to connect to your soundbar without setting up Google Assistant. Before you start the pairing procedure, make sure that the Bluetooth feature on your smart device is turned on. Refer to your Bluetooth device’s user guide. Once a pairing operation is performed, it does not need to be performed again. 1. Turn on the speaker and connect Wi-Fi. Follow “Network connection”. 2. Select the Bluetooth function by pressing F repeatedly. “BT” and then “READY” appears in the display window. 3. Operate the Bluetooth device and perform the pairing operation. When searching for this speaker on your Bluetooth device, a list of the devices found may appear in the Bluetooth device display depending on the type of Bluetooth device. Your speaker appears as “Speaker name (App setup)”. 4. Select the “Speaker name (App setup)”.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the height needed to avoid blocking the TV's sensor. ^CP

Very good sound quality, syncs perfectly with my LG TV via optical. There are probably better ones out there, but the convenience of this unit is superb

Great sound and it was open box so major discount. Getting Bluetooth setup can be a bit of a pain if you have spotty internet though. You have to set it up through the wifi setting on the speaker. After that, it's easy to use.

Personally thought when I was listening to it on high volume I would have to literally jump and have to look for the remote because of how loud and irritating it would get when it was just someone talking. They need to really need to tweak it. SONOS did it well where you can literally blast your speakers and still enjoy the dialogue without it sounding like someone is screaming at you. Everything seemed too loud all at once and didn’t feel like it all had a control.

The sound bar is OK. Wish it went louder. We also bought a bass speaker to go along with it. The speakers pretty good. I think if I would’ve bought two bass speakers it would’ve been much better. If you’re just in your regular sized living room the sound bar works good. If you have quite a big space you needed to travel through... maybe add two of them. The downside is it has google assistant on it. Google assistant turns itself on sometimes. Freaks me out.

This sound bar is great and the sound is a lot better than anything I heard outside a theater (not saying much since this is my first sound bar/home theater system) and it goes great with my 55” C9 I bought with this.

We returned another unit to purchase this. I really like the ATMOS coverage and with the extra speakers it is great for movies. I highly recommend this or any of the other LG sound bars. The one we returned was a brand you would assume had better sound, but it didn't.

Terrific soundbar! I upgraded from my 2013 Samsung F550 Soundbar. I can say I am very pleased with the quality and performance of this soundbar. This bar is perfect for my condo's living room with high slanted ceilings.

I absolutely love this sound bar, and for the price the value to get into Dolby Atmos was there!
I have not had the same issues as others are saying, no disconnects, not cutting out, wish setting up ARC was a little simpler but overall not too bad!

The sound and bass that this puts out (440 watts) is awesome. Talk about rattling the windows!!! It's easy to use, easy to pair up to your devices, and was a great accessory to our new 75" Sony Bravia.
