Wanted to have a better sound from new LG OLED 65" HDTV and this one was the best, in my opinion, to compliment the TV. Once connected and did the automatic linking it has been great. Easy to connect out of the box without need to use an app but it is available.

Great set of speakers, and purchased the matching set to go with for surround sound! We live family movie night in our own home - versus the theater. Especially during pandemic! Highly recommend! They pair great and easy to use!

We got the OLED 65" TV and then decided to get the LG sound bar as well...unbelievable sound, especially when Dobly ATMOS kicks in.

I originally looked for wireless rear speakers for a theater sound in my home. I was told that they weren't totally wireless. I was disappointed. I returned the previous soundbar and speakers. When I heard the LG at the store, I was sold.

Excellent sound for my new TV. Easy to setup, only downside is the connection for the google assistant which takes a bit to get to work and can be a bit shaky.

This sound bar system has always impressed me. The sound is clear and crisp. Base is plenty for any medium sized room. And when paired with the wireless speakers this system sounds incredible. Makes watching movies an event.

Got on sale for a great price sound is really good would like the bass to be a bit more but all around great unit

I like the sound bar but I wanted to keep the microphone muted but it keeps shouting at me at 3am “Did you know the microphone is muted”

We love this soundbar !!! The sound quality is so much better than expect have had it for about 2 years now so far so good :) love that it has different sound options like movie, music etc.

We hadn't intended to purchase a sound bar when we bought a new TV and DVD player. With the sale price on those items and our desire to have a system that was easier to use than what we had, we added this sound bar to the purchase.

Bought this sound bar with my LG OLED TV. The price was great for the value. The only negative I would have is that you can’t connect another device (e.g. a phone) via Bluetooth while it’s connected to the TV.

Ok, My wife gave me a JBL soundbar for Xmas, and I kept experiencing random “no sound” issues when connected to my LG tv, but no problems when connected to my Samsung, so , after much researching, it seems that LGtv’s don’t like other branded sound bars, so I exchanged this for a higher ended floor model, plus bought the rear speakers. Took it home and hooked everything up, and Wow!!! Love this thing,and all of its features,but,you need a Ethernet type HDMI cable to work properly, I think that if JBL supplied that same type of cable, I may not have had to do all of this to begin with, but, I’ll never really know for sure, but, either way, I am very happy with my purchase!!!

This system is great sounding and a great price! It's also easy to connect the rear speakers for even better surround sound. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a basic at home surround system.

My initial intent was to purchase the Vizio SB36512-F6 but after hearing the LG SL8YG it was a no-brainer. The sound coming out of this soundbar is amazing. Looking to pair this soundbar with wireless rear speakers.

Trying to turn off soundbar from responding to Hey Google since I have another Google Home in the same room but at the loudest volume the soundbar Google Assistant tells me it isn't set up yet. Well, I have set it up before and it would interrupt my tv viewing whenever someone in the household asks another Google Assistant a question. No settings allow you to turn off the Google Assistant. Even when you unlink the soundbar from your Google Assistant app it still tries to take over answering even when you have the soundbar off. The soundbar is OFF! Then the frustration is that it turns the soundbar on and leaves it on the WiFi function. I NEVER EVEN WANTED TO USE THE LG SOUNDBAR FOR GOOGLE! I just REALLY enjoy the sound quality of the soundbar MINUS Google Assistant being so annoying. I am considering returning this Christmas gift.

This is the most expensive sound bar I have ever bought and I should have done it sooner. The sound quality is amazing and crisp it has that theater experience you are looking for in a speaker.

I live in an decent size apartment with 2 bedroom and this is perfect size for the living room space. With google asst, it replaces my google mini and plays back nicely. Havent had any problems with this soundbar!

I like the sound quality. I wish it included the surround speakers but when paired with them it's a great set up.
