We purchased the LG Counter-Depth MAX 25.5 Cu. Ft. French Door Smart Refrigerator to replace our unreliable fridge. Its sleek, modern design adds a touch of elegance to our kitchen, while the counter-depth feature provides extra space in our galley layout. The PrintProof Stainless Steel finish, along with the dual ice function, ensures that our refrigerator remains spotless and functional. Additionally, it operates incredibly quietly! The SmartThinQ app allows for easy remote monitoring and temperature control, which gives us peace of mind wherever we are. Overall, we highly recommend this refrigerator to anyone looking for a reliable and cost-effective replacement.

It’s only been a few weeks but I love this fridge so much! We renovated our kitchen 9/2021 and bought all WP stainless steel appliances. Unfortunately, the ice maker and water went out in the fridge. I could not fathom having mismatched appliances so I was looking to buy the same brand again. However, I couldn’t stomach wasting money on another appliance that would give out after a few years. I procrastinated on buying a new fridge because I just couldn’t get another brand and it not match my other appliances. I eventually went into a Best Buy store to compare the stainless steel look between the WP and the LG. As picky as I am, I determined it would be acceptable to buy an LG to go with my other WP appliances. I ordered this fridge and set the delivery date out a week. I knew I’d need to go back in store to reassure myself the stainless steel finish would match good enough *facepalm*. And I did. I went back in store to double check and again, I convinced myself it would be ok. Delivery day came and the guys were great! Very careful not to scratch or dent anything. Once we got the fridge hooked up I just stood back and looked at it with heart eyes! I wish I would have bought this fridge in the first place! I absolutely love the look of the fridge. I feel it elevates the look of my kitchen. The stainless steel matches perfectly with my other WP appliances that are within very close proximity. The dual ice maker is life changing! The water stream is so strong! The inside…. The inside!!! The space this thing has!!! Even the dinging noise the fridge makes is so cute. All in all, im actually happy my WP fridge failed. I love this fridge!

I've had this refrigerator for several months and I've found it to be great so far. Having 2 ice makers is a real plus since the door ice maker doesn't hold a lot of ice. Your freezer ice maker reservoir does hold a lot and that helps when you have company. The only thing that's annoying is that you can't use the water/ice dispenser as long as the other refrigerator door is open. So if you start dispensing ice in your glass and someone else comes along and opens the opposite door, your dispensing stops. Not a huge deal, but slightly annoying. I almost don't care as long as it continues to work well. I haven't had good luck with refrigerators, but so far so good with this one. The inside refrigerator compartment is spacious and even though I have a back-up refrigerator, I haven't needed it too much at all. Freezer is spacious also. Very attractive design and a quick wipe-down of the stainless steel is all that's needed to make it look perfect again.

We recently upgraded to this LG Counter-Depth MAX French Door fridge and absolutely love it. It fits beautifully with our cabinets, giving a sleek built-in look without sacrificing storage space. The 25.5 cu. ft. capacity is impressive for a counter-depth model.
The dual ice makers are a huge plus—there’s always plenty of ice on hand, both cubed and crushed. Perfect for entertaining or just day-to-day use. The fridge is very quiet and cools evenly, and the PrintProof stainless steel finish is easy to keep clean.
We also really enjoy the smart features. Being able to check settings or get alerts from the ThinQ app is super convenient.
Pros:
Sleek counter-depth design
Tons of storage and flexible shelving
Dual ice makers = no running out
Quiet and energy-efficient
Fingerprint-resistant finish
Great smart features
Cons:
Freezer space is a bit tight due to the extra ice bin
Door bins could be a bit sturdier
Overall, we’re extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, stylish, and well-performing fridge.

The first unit I received. was defective, as the doors would not properly align. Used the provided wrench to adjust as much as the unit allows, and they still would not align properly. I see only one other review with the exact same problem, but Best Buy took care of it quickly without question and the replacement is perfect!
The refrigerator this replaced was not counter depth and I wanted a counter depth model so it would not stick out quite as far. Well, this one is not as deep as my old refrigerator when measured, but it still sticks out a bit more than I expected. Part of it this unit just "appears" like it sticks out more since it is taller, wider, and the visual perception of the doors from the side.
As others have noted the doors are quite thick, due to the in door ice maker.
Overall I am very pleased, but will ding a star due to the first one being defective (I believe it was a manufacturer defect) and a couple of other things I have noted below. For the money, these couple minor things should have been thought of by LG. I still recommend the product.
Pros:
-Quieter
-Very Spacious
-Dual Ice
Cons:
-1st unit was defective (Pictured)
-Make sure you measure and have enough clearance for your doors to open since they are so thick. You may have an issue if you are placing this into a wall or cut out. The right door on mine opens only 98% of the way before it hits the counter (Pictured).
-Door ice cubes tend to get frozen together/jammed(as others noted), disappointing.
-Door Dispenser LED, could be brighter or adjustable and have a night light option (The 13-year-old this was replacing had those options, despite being "Dumb"). There is no option to control this light despite being "Smart". The ThinQ app does give some control over the brightness of the interior LED lighting, so why not the dispenser light?
-The shelves should be more adjustable as others have noted. The way the slots are, the only real meaningful adjustment that can be made is to remove an entire shelf.

So far so good,
Quiet, production of ice is fast enough for my use and you have the 2nd ice dispenser in the drawer if you need extra.
The app connection is great too, allow you to change some settings like chime, light, energy saving, and let you see your use in genera (power/water)
Great fridge, will recommend

3 Month review-
Everything been great so far. Everything works as advertised.
Having the double ice maker has been handy.
Everything feels very sturdy and well fitting. My last fridge felt very plastic-like and the door trays felt wobbly. This LG has none of those characteristics.
This fridge has a very sleek feel and look.
If I had a "con" it's more so towards the style and not the model. This is my first bottom freezer style instead of the side by side. The shorter space makes it harder to allocate areas for gallon pitchers and things that don't have a screw on lid that fit on the door. But the other side is the wider fridge makes it easier for me to not lose things on the lower shelves.

So far I’ve been happy with this purchase. Features such as the more easily accessible water filter and counter depth are great. However, the shelves in this model have fewer slots available making it difficult to adjust them to usable heights.

This was a great value and looks great. Since we have upgraded our extra capacity in the “garage” fridge and freezer, we opted for the slimmer version for the kitchen to free up floor space while keeping the essentials close. Love the water and ice on the door although it would be nice to have a brighter light. And love love the additional ice in the freezer drawer as we use lots every day.

This was a replacemnet for my Samsung French Door Smart Refrigerator that had a faulty water dispenser that kept dripping and Geek Squad was unable to fix. I chose to go with this LG model because the Samsung model was no longer available and this LG model was the same price. I am very pleased that I made the right choice because I am finding this LG to be better than the Samsung. It is roomier and a very well thought out appliance. The water filter is also much easier to replace. This is my first LG appliance and I am quite impressed with it at this time.

Beautiful exterior and attractive interior. Very happy with purchase. I recommend this product to anyone shopping for a new refrigerator. One more thing this refrigerator is very quiet. Choose Best buy for your appliances and electronics and security needs. Plus your smart appliances and electronics desires and needs. Westland Michigan location is excellent and has a great staff. I researched size and features to replace my Samsung counter Depth French Door refrigerator. This unit has the correct dimensions for my built in space in the kitchen and it is great with massive internal space for counter depth units. Great shelving and cabinet space. Dual ice makers. We turn off the freezer ice maker when not entertaining and only need the door ice maker for personal use as a couple living in the home. With our previous unit ice shortage was an issue when entertaining. This will no longer be an issue with dual ice. The WiFi app is nice and provides value in monitoring and controlling the unit.

Have lived in a small condo for quite some time and just did not have the space for a French door refrigerator, but always wanted one. After buying a new house, this LG was the first thing I purchased! It was at a great price on the Memorial Day sale and we bought it along with a new LG microwave. Still working on the house, so we have not moved in yet, but the workers are going through ice like they have never seen it before! With two ice makers, one in-door and one in the freezer, there is plenty to go around! Plus, it just looks great in my kitchen!

FYI: I REALLY don't like leaving bad reviews. In this case, I wish I had read about my issues, as it would have caused me to go with another fridge.
This LG is a great fridge overall, but the reason for 4 stars is simple:
1. Lower veggie- cooled drawer should be split into 2 drawers for each door (see pics). Requires you to open both doors to slide out the single drawer, instead of having 2 drawers (one for each door), which lets out all of the cooled air. Poor engineering, and they obviously bypassed those comments from the focus group (if they even had them) feedback.
2. Annoying beeping system when the fridge is left open for more than 30 seconds (this is also a plus because we've accidentally left the door open after leaving the kitchen and the beeps do help to remind that we were forgetful). Wish there was a way to to turn it off, especially when I'm cooking and have to leave the fridge open for various ingredients for the different dishes I'm making simultaneously.
3. It started rusting by the water dispenser (see pics) after 3 months. What the.....? That's really bad. I pay $2,500 for a fridge and it starts rusting after 3 months? Wow.
Personally, I wouldn't buy this again. I'm going to call Best Buy now to see what can be done about the rusting. If it can be fixed/replaced, then I'll return and update my rating.

I replaced a 12 year old Samsung with this LG. I like the two ice options (door and freezer). The door alone never had enough for coolers. I also like the filters are much easier to get to and replace. Overall, I am happy with the product. The BB installers did a great job. Also, informed me that the uneven handles on the door are fixed with spacers provided (put spacers on other side door). It’s intentional apparently. In case what you put in the door is heavy and you don’t need the spacers. Nice looking refrigerator.

Excellent Performance & Silent Operation – Perfect for a Modern Townhome
I purchased the LG 25.5 cu. ft. Counter-Depth MAX French Door Smart Refrigerator (Model: LRFLC2706S) from Best Buy on May 31, 2025, for my newly built two-story townhome, and I couldn’t be more pleased with this appliance.
Ease of Use:
From the moment it was installed, the user interface felt intuitive and well thought out. The digital controls are clear and responsive, and I love how easily the shelves adjust to accommodate different sized items. The dual ice makers (including the craft ice option) are a fantastic bonus — no more running out of ice during gatherings!
Performance & Longevity:
In the few weeks I've used it, performance has been flawless. It cools evenly and quickly, and produce stays crisp noticeably longer than my old fridge. The door-in-door feature is great for quick access to frequently used items, and everything from meats to leftovers stays fresh. Given LG's reputation and the premium build quality, I expect this fridge to last for many years without a hitch.
Energy Efficiency:
This model is ENERGY STAR® certified, and it shows. I’ve noticed only a minimal increase in energy use despite it running 24/7. The LED lighting is bright but efficient, and the inverter compressor seems to contribute to both its energy savings and quiet performance.
Silent Operation:
One of the most impressive features is how quiet it is. Living in a townhome where the kitchen is central to the open-plan living area, noise was a major concern. Fortunately, this LG fridge runs almost silently. You’ll barely notice it’s on, which is a huge plus if you’re sensitive to appliance hums or have young children.
Final Thoughts:
This LG French door refrigerator is a perfect match for a modern two-story townhome. It blends seamlessly into the kitchen thanks to its counter-depth design and sleek PrintProof™ stainless steel finish — no fingerprints, no hassle. It’s smart, efficient, and exceptionally quiet, making it a great investment for a new home.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking a stylish, reliable, and energy-efficient refrigerator.

I replaced a side by side refrigerator which seemed to run all the time (hummed constantly) and did not hold enough groceries for a 2-person household without some real jenga skills.
This new fridge is amazing! It’s quiet, it’s roomy, it looks great. The only time I hear it is when it is drawing water to make ice (a few secs). The ice bin in the freezer makes ice so quickly. We use the outside dispenser for water and just grab ice from the freezer. As some have mentioned, the 3-step rotation in the door dispenser is a little annoying, but it’s easy to overlook when I love everything else about this fridge.
Someone mentioned that the lighting wasn’t bright enough in the refrigerator, but that may have been an old model. The lighting in this model is excellent. I can see everything from front to back. The freezer lighting is good, too.
While this model is slightly smaller than some, it holds a lot of food. My photos show everything that was packed into my old refrigerator with plenty of room in the new refrigerator. I love not having to constantly dig for items in the back. The shelves do have some limitations, but we make it work. It’s really no big deal.
I have never had a counter width refrigerator before. It looks really sleek and does not stick out like my old fridge did.
