Ordered this model when I moved. Was very happy w/ older LG but could not take it with me. This one is a disappointment. Handle to freezer drawer: screw got stripped & broke when installing. Called Best Buy: they could not help. Called LG - talked to someone that tried to help, but left off with "they would contact me"...3 months later: no contact. I have to pull the drawer open by the wee knobs - hopefully using correct pressure. UGH Interface: water/ice dispenser is pressure activated. Same as my older model...but this model needs a harder "press" & press again to get to the function you want. Awkward & a downgrade. I think that LG is a popular brand, appeals to an aesthetic and was really good in the recent past. But maybe they are coasting on that rep. If I were to have to buy a new fridge today: I would go with a Whirlpool or GE. Why: from real life reviews from friends/family & techs (that know what breaks down). Just my opinion - and yeah - if you are set on LG - good luck. But wanted to share my less than great experience before you plunk down a lot of money on this particular product - you can do better.

It has tons of space for a family of four. The ice maker is low profile inside the door so it isn't taking up space that could've been used for additional food. We don't love the freezer layout as it kind of forces you to stack things on top of each other but it does work well.

Luckily, we can take the tray out & loosen the ice ourselves without calling for a repair.

It’s like it has an “auto close” feature, although in reality it’s not designed as such. Other than this issue, satisfied with this LG model. Much more tolerable than having to “mop up” accumulated water under the deli drawer with our previous Kenmore (manufactured by LG) refrigerator, on a weekly basis. Another friend also faced the same issue on an actual LG refrigerator.

The doors close a little hard which will cause items in the side door shelves to clang, unless you have the them stuffed tightly. The fingerprint resistant feature is great. The configuration of the freezer storage is a little strange but it could be I’m not used to it.

Only problem is the the ice gets 'hung up' in one corner in the door ice maker. Hoping that will resolve as the refrigerator 'breaks in.' Extra ice make in the freezer compartment is a plus.
