I can't say any of them would get a bad grade, and most of them would get an excellent grade. This is the first time I purchased anything from LG. I thought the see-through panel on the right side of the door was cool, and it really helped form my purchasing decision, as I believe the fridge overall would work like other brands that I have had in the past. I started realizing almost immediately that this fridge was not designed very well. Starting with the top shelf of the lower freezer pullout, which collapses to the lower part of the freezer drawer when it is nearly full. This requires removing everything from the top rack of the lower freezer and then trying to reset it back in its slide. This is a constant issue and a serious design flaw. Another issue is with the main refrigerator side door panels. Expecting the side door panels to have rows to put bottles or cans of drinks is not unheard of. They designed this so you can have 4 1/2 cans only on the top shelf, (no bottles). Then 4 1/2 cans or bottles on the middle rack, and then a row at the bottom which doesn't fit any bottle or can because it is too thin. Now my freezer is not longer working and I have to get support for it. I thought knocking on the side glass panel to see into my fridge was going to be a cool feature. The matter of fact is that I have had this for a year and have knocked on that glass about 8 times max. It is an absolutely useless feature. I should have paid more to another manufacturer for a TV or a Wi-Fi-enabled computer screen. I have more complaints about the internal layout of this fridge, but I will end this here. This was my first and very last purchase of LG, period. Never again.

The install was seamless and the guys that came to do it were very efficient and careful with the fridge. I thoroughly enjoy the look of the fridge and the double knock to light up the fridge and see inside is a nice touch.

The unit was installed yesterday and hooked up by the geek squad. There was a water connection leak and we got no response help from best buy. The install was on tuesday and they offered a saturday response. Our basement incurred water damage and the ceiling partially collapsed. I had to install the handles, unpack the shelves and drawers as well as fix the bad water connection. The damage repairs have just begun. The unit is nice and we’re pleased with the performance so far. We purchased the five year protection plan and I certainly hope any needed service is better than the installation.
