Fridge Fine; Do Not Do Delivery (Worst Ever Had)

Fridge works fine; delivery and service was the worst I have ever received. I reported it to Best Buy and found out they didn't care. As a result, I probably will not be buying anything from them in the future (and I've bought a lot). Delivery service damaged my home- front door and tile floor- which I am still waiting for repairs 2 weeks later.

arrived with a dent in the door. I was told I could get some money off my purchase if I chose to keep it. when I called their 'customer care" to try and set that up the agent did not follow through with my request. when I called weeks later, as I did not receive my meager $150 gift card I was told they could not do that. I ended up getting an amount refunded but it was ridiculously hard to finally get that result. I do not recommend buying appliances from Best Buy. The fridge is ok, but the dent is annoying.

Replaced a 20+ year old junker fridge with this beautiful LG model. Quiet, doors open and close easily, and freezer is large. Bonus cold filtered water from inside. We couldn't be happier! The guys that installed were great- careful, considerate and efficient.

LG Refrigerator Freezer Review

When we decided to replace our refrigerator, it was our decision to stay with a bottom freezer unit. We felt that LG was a top quality appliance manufacturer so we picked their 26.5 Cu Ft counter depth bottom freezer unit. It fits our refrigerator space perfectly and has more storage capacity (both refrigerator and freezer) than our previous non counter depth unit. We have been using it for a while now and could not be more pleased. It hold temperature excellently in both the refrigerator and the freezer (Setpoint s are 37 and 0 - temps are steady within two to three degrees of the set points). Our new LG refrigerator/Freezer has performed flawlessly for us and is everything that we hoped it would be. Not to forget our Best Buy purchase and installation experience, both were excellent!

Have bought this same refrigerator twice now and have no problems. We love the simplistic design and the internal water dispenser. Makes plenty of ice and it is very large volume inside. The only downside is the “counter depth” is partially true. The thickness of the doors make them difficult to open all the way when placed at a normal counter depth, they catch on the walls. You have to pull it out 2-3 inches so the doors can open all the way

LOVE this product!! Disappointed that after the purchase it was indicated the water line connection would not happen unless the existing line was copper!! I purchased this condo brand new in 2002 and the water line is clear plastic!! Who has copper lines anymore??~!! Had to investigate a few different connectors to fit the included line, but ACE Hardware had what I needed. anyway the fingerprint resistance is awesome and the unit holds a constant 39 degrees in the fridge and 0 in freezer. I am a Chef and the myriad of condiments/sauces I have fit superbly on the doors to free up inside shelves for all else.

Capacious, no-frills, counter-depth fridge

Summary: This is a basic refrigerator that gets the job done and offers impressive capacity at a great price. If your kitchen requires a shallower counter-depth refrigerator and you prioritize capacity over bells and whistles, this is the one to get.
Other similar-looking LG refrigerators have options like external water dispensers, spherical icemakers, and crispers with adjustable humidity. This has none of those. What you do get is a solid, reasonably-priced refrigerator that holds more stuff than just about any other counter-depth model.
You have basic amenities covered: an internal water dispenser in the fresh food section, an icemaker in the freezer drawer, crisper drawers for fruits/vegetables. While you can rearrange the shelves in the fresh food compartment, adjustability is limited. The default configuration will probably be fine for most households.
The shelves in the door cannot be rearranged, but they are deep enough and have enough vertical separation to accommodate gallon jugs of milk and 2-liter soda bottles. This really helps free up the internal shelves for food, and the door shelves stay cool thanks to the door cooling vents.
My fridge thermometers have been reading within within about 1.5 degrees of the set point, with the doors about a degree or two less. The freezer tends to live a little below its set point. That being said, temperatures in a refrigerator are always fluctuating, and much depends on the temperature of the kitchen and airflow in and around the refrigerator, so take those observations with a grain of salt.
I can't speak to long term reliability but I'm pleased with the refrigerator so far. I'm glad LG offers a value-priced model that doesn't force customers to pay more for fancy features they may not really need.

Awesome fridge! Crazy it was still $1600 on massive sale (appliances are crazy these days), but I think it will be worth it in the long run. I bought this because it fit our fridge cutout better and had great reviews. So far, it is working out well. Here are the pros and cons.
* Pros *
- Keeps food cold (stellar feature I know)
- Ice maker keeps up with our ice usage well
- Fridge has lots of storage room
- Design is sleek and stylish, very modern but minimalistic
- app lets you change notification sounds, update fridge firmware, see if doors are currently open, and even keep track of item freshness (can add items manually and when they expire)
- door open notifications so you know if your kid left it open
* Cons *
- ice maker took days to start producing, so you just have to wait
- Drawers have no handles or grooves at all, so it's a tad bit awkward to reach up underneath them to get a grip
- water spout is so awkward, but we didn't want it anyway, just happened to be a feature for this size
Overall, definitely recommend unless drawer handles are super important to you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Design & Excellent Purchase Experience
I haven’t received the refrigerator yet, but I wanted to share how impressed I am with the entire buying experience so far. The moment I saw this model in-store, I was completely in love with the sleek, modern design and the clean stainless-steel finish. It has a premium look that instantly elevates any kitchen.
The layout and storage options also caught my attention — wide shelves, a spacious freezer, and smart organization that I know will make life so much easier once it arrives. It truly feels like the perfect combination of beauty and functionality.
I also had an excellent experience with the Best Buy team. They were patient, knowledgeable, and helped answer every question I had. The purchasing process was smooth and transparent, and the delivery process has been easy to track so far.
I’m genuinely excited for it to arrive and I already feel confident that I made the right choice. Highly recommend this model and the service!

Well Designed Upgrade to my aging Fridge!

Pros: Impressive and efficient use of storage space while earning the title of being "counter-depth". It blew my mind talking to the associate at Best Buy the reported cubic feet of storage with the exterior measurements. I know LG is reputable and I'd heard mixed reviews about Samsung (which I really wanted at first) and I'm so glad I chose this fridge from LG. It's a classy design with crisp finishes, and I LOVE the internal water dispenser. It's creative and I love how it doesn't take up space in the door or on the front of the fridge. The ice-maker works wonderfully and the ice size is great (I think you can adjust it but haven't tried). It's pretty quiet for the most part too.
CONS: It's not been super intuitive how to rearrange the shelves, but I don't blame LG. I need to figure out first from LG how to do it as I'm too afraid to break/damage something, but definitely need to adjust the shelves as things like pitchers don't currently fit. The only real con I can think of is that it's a tiny bit noisier than I was hoping. The compressor only turns on occasionally which is how a fridge typicall works but when it's on it's surprisingly louder than I thought it would be--it's not really THAT loud but I had heard LG was known for being super quiet and perhaps my expectations were unreasonable. So it's a minor complaint.
Overall, great fridge that I am VERY with.

This is an amazing refrigerator with lots of space! I am able to fit a lot of food in here and the temperature makes my food last much longer. The drawers make seeing and finding my fresh fruits and vegetables really easy and there is a lot of space in the doors for condiments and other items. The freezer makes about 5 lbs of ice cubes, which are perfect size for a wide variety of uses. I like having the sleek look of the doors without the ice/water on the outside, as the water is easy to access just inside the left door. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

The Model LRFLC2706S was our 2nd time purchasing an LG Counter-Depth Fridge. Our prior model, (purchased 8 yrs ago) was plagued with temperature control problems that were emblematic to both LG & Samsung Fridges with the water and ice dispenser on the outside of the frig door.
So this time, we elected to go with the basic cubes in the freezer model that has a water dispenser inside (rather than outside) the door. This gives it a very clean, simplified look.
Both models had approximately the same compact footprint. Our old fridge was 24 cu ft, so we were delighted that this model is 26.5 cu ft. We now have 17.8 cu ft in the fridge (vs 16.1 cu ft) and 8.7 cu ft in the freezer vs 7.9 cu ft.
Most of the fridge space seems to be gained in the wider door shelf space on the left, as a result of relocating the ice maker. But they also consolidated the vegetable drawers from three to two bigger ones in the fridge and went from 3 shelves to 2 shelves in the freezer, making them deeper and offering more usable space.
Despite previous problems, we always liked the amazing amount of storage space crammed into the French Door counter-depth model and the fabulous lighting that lets you see everything that is stored. Inside and out, it's just a beautiful appliance.
We do use a device called the SensorPush HT.w Wireless Thermometer/Hygrometer Water-Resistant for iPhone/Android for monitoring refrigerator and freezer temps. We had the units in our old fridge too and it brings a level of comfort knowing the temperature is stable and we're not left guessing.
This LG model is a SMART refrigerator and comes with ThinQ Care Technology that connects to your home network and an app. It sends protective smart alerts to your phone like time to change the filters, ice messages etc, and can provide smart diagnosis.
I am very pleased with this purchase.

This refrigerator is perfect for us. It's counter depth so we can pull out the freezer drawer without it hitting our island. We just love the internal water dispenser. The refrigerator has plenty of room. The shelves are easy to move around and the freezer is a very good size for us.

Lots of space for a counter depth! This fridge is super quiet - I mean really quiet to the point I didn't think it was running. Lots of spacious door shelves to store items that I had to previously store on the interior shelves, freeing up the main space. I cannot comment on the ice maker/water dispenser as I do not have a water line to the fridge. Temps hold steady at 37 in fridge and 0 in freezer. It is sleek and the outside does not show finger marks. If I had a complaint it would be that it could use more interior lighting, but it is sufficient. The back wall is stainless and the cord to plug it in comes from the top of the box instead of the back and that is not an issue either as you can't even see it. All in all, very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to you if you are looking for a counter depth but don't want to sacrifice space.

Absolutely love this fridge. It has a ton of space and it's all USABLE space. The water dispenser inside the fridge leaves open space for storage in the doors which is huge. We are able to fit a ton of stuff in the doors and it's almost like having a second fridge. Absolutely love this fridge. Freezer is basic but, we have a standing freezer in the garage so I don't really have much of an opinion on this space.
