The ice maker has gone out on my refrigerator 3 times. If you purchase this item make sure you get a good warranty. I am glad I had it.

The fridge didn't even cool after delivery and set up. They said it may take up to 24hrs for the fridge to work properly. It didn't cool at all after 2days. Exchanged for the same unit. It works for about a week then the interior lights started to flicker. Returned for a refund. Very disappointed in LG.

Only have had for 1 week but the initial impression is fantastic. Visually it is kitchen Art, and the interior LED lighting is incredible and appealing. Love the door in door feature. So much space accessible. It is SO, SO quiet. I have listened to see if it is running even!! The only sound I ever hear at all is the very muffled sound of the ice dropping to fill the bins (and it is not loud) and then the brief filling of the ice trays with water lasting about 5 secs. Both ice makers have functioned flawlessly. Actually have not have to even use the ice from the one in the freezer but the bin stays full. Water dispenser is great, immediate and no dripping. Ice is available immediately from the dispenser. It is just the 2 of us most of time but use ice several times a day. Temps are excellent. the temp in the door in door is a bit lower but very adequate for cold milk, etc. I do like to open the door in door carefully so that rough use will not shorten the life of the door button release, and really see no need to access the door in door area by the press release on the clear panel inside which again if treated roughly would not be good. Maybe unnecessary caution but.. I had a 1/2 in hard copper tube water line installed with shut off value right behind the refrigerator and then purchased the flexible metal line from Best Buy to connect the the refrigerator. I had read that this is better than a saddle value for water pressure and long term functioning. Also some have commented that wished it had another folding shelf for more tall items. I could see this but I have not had an issue, but the shelves are each individually adjustable so works great for us. I have thought that could probably purchase another LG folding shelf, but then that would be some extra money, but something to think about. Lastly I have to give a thumbs up to the installers contracted by my Best Buy to deliver. They were fantastic, and moved my old side by side down to the basement which was a bit of a pain. I could not be happier at this point with this Fridge.

Great fridge love the duel ice tray. Just wish it had a little more room for bigger food boxes and drinks

Love the refrigerator. Love the lights inside. I can be very organized. I like the different draws for veggies & fruit. I also like being able to see everything in the freezer. A very happy owner.

It is junk. 2500 for a fridge 2 broke down more than my 25 year old Maytag.

Wanted something other than my previous Samsung that busted and floded my floors for the second time due to the icemaker , this unit is very nice if you have kids, it had 2 ice dispensers.

Did quite a bit of research before choosing this fridge..must admit some of the negative reviews were concerning. We have had no issues, in fact we are more than pleased with the product.

I would return this over priced piece of junk if it was possible! The water taste horrible & ice smells like its full of chemicals. I'm replacing filters every 2 months. That has not helped at all. L G should be ashamed to put a product like this on the market. They must be making millions off the filters.

After looking at several models and brands we chose this LG and we couldn't be happier! Love the slim ice maker. We were worried it would make enough ice, but it makes more than we need.

It is too early to judge the long term but so far it is doing well. The only negative I have is that the chilled water is not cold enough and it is impossible to level while on rollers.

The height specifications listed online and on the tag in the store were incorrect. The unit is actually about a half and inch taller and therefore would not fit in our space. This was confirmed by the delivery/installation person. It was very frustrating.

The quality is outstanding on this refrigerator! I did a lot of research on other types of similar products and LG is the way to go!

No complaints about the refrigerator it has been running smoothly since I bought it. Since then I added a warranty

I glad we went with the double ice maker, not sure the upper door one would be enough with a family of 4

The "display" door feature is fantastic. We can get the stuff we use most without opening the entire refrigerator. Easy customization of the space inside.

Great fridge for a great price... I love the touch screen feature.. lots of compartments to store food

I did a lot of research before I decided to buy this refrigerator. The many features of this refrigerator was the deciding factor for me. Great buy also.

DO NOT buy anything LG. If it needs repair there is not one who will even come to your house to evaluate the issue. The leak in the refrigerant line is unrepairable because the lines are embedded in the insulation in the casing. Not fixable.

Big refrigerator and freezer, lots of space for everything. The in door storage is great for drinks.
