Excellent features on this LG at great value.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the 32 cu ft version of this refrigerator before, but had to leave it behind when I sold my house and downsized to smaller house. This 28 cu ft size is perfect size for my new house. It still has the wide shelves in the refrigerator, room for party trays, and lots of door storage. It has the small ice maker in the door, which doesn't take away from refrigerator space, but a 2nd larger ice maker in freezer, which I love. The door in door feature wasn't something I particularly wanted, but this refrigerator was cheaper than the same without the feature (crazy sale), so I got the feature and glad I did because I like the easy access to drinks.

Best Refrigerator on the Market!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a new refrigerator for the new home and I wanted to get one that had all the bells and whistles. This one definitely had them and I am very pleased. First and foremost, it had to have a quick access door. When I compared this to the Samsung, LG had a neat feature that I liked and that was that the area was completely enclosed unlike the Samsung. The whole point of this feature is to reduce the cold being lost and because the LG is complete enclosed, it reduces the amount of cold air being lost. Second, it had two ice makers. How awesome is that. I didn't like the idea of running out of ice during family gatherings. Next, this fridge had a air filtering system. No more boxes of baking soda. The fridge filters its own air. There are many more features, but these three I felt were the most influential to me.

Great fridge!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fridge is awesome~ so much fits in the freezer part AND the ice maker down there is so great. The french doors top part is good - tons of room! The extra door is nice for keeping the kids drinks and stuff that we go for all the time.

Great Refrigerator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the door-in door for drinks and condiments. Wide deli drawer is so easy to arrange multiple items, not having to stack them. The dual ice makers are great for our family. Plenty of ice for ice chests, ice packs, pitchers, etc.

Nice Regrigerator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This refrigerator is a great size. Roomy with the filters out of the way to maximize space. Shelves and drawers are sturdy. Interior lighting is bright. Seems to keep items evenly cooled/frozen with no lingering food smells. Love the ice and water dispenser and extra ice maker in freezer. Only negative is the humming noise that must be coming from the dual compressor. It is not loud but you can hear it. I love the frig so well, I won't be sending it back because of the noise.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this refrigerator. The through the door ice and water feature is awesome and I particularly like the door in door feature. It's definitely an intelligently designed refrigerator. Nice fuctional fridge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems to keep veggies fresher longer, it is very quite, makes plenty of ice with the added tray in freezer, and has plenty of room. We removed a shelf to allow more room for taller items.

Door in Door
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The door in door is a great feature. I think this LG is better the the Samsung equivalent because the ice maker and water dispenser are better. It is also nice to have a second ice maker in the freezer portion when having a few guests over.

Love the features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very pleased with this refrigerator. Plenty of room, attractive and functional. However, the freezer could be better designed to have baskets. As it is there is plenty of room for foods but the bottom foods would be lost or forgotten. So I went to a $ store and bought some plastic baskets. I now have 4 separate categories. Easy to lift out and find what I need. On the way home from the purchase I realized I was not offered an extended warranty plan. I also bought a Dyson Animal at the same time and now no extended warranty on either. Customer service was over and above.

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were replacing a 19 year old side by side that had given us a good life, so upgrading to this was leaps and bounds over what we had. The only con was that it did not come in the dark stainless that I wanted. Our requirements were the dual ice maker (door and tray), french doors and to have the easy access door (I think they call it door in door). I love that it has so much light inside, 3 drawers for fruit and veggies, a long drawer we are using for cheese and deli items. I can fit a whole pizza box in there, which I was not able to do before. I also love the bottom freezer.

Great french door refrigerator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A GE side by side came with my new house but it was noisy and cheap looking so it was sentenced to garage duty. I wasn't sure about 'french door' refrigerators but this thing is awesome, unbelievably quiet compared to the GE and the SS finish is much nicer. The ice maker makes plenty for 2 people, have never been close to running out of ice. One thing to pay attention to when shopping for these big refrigerators, make sure you get one like this with lighting on the sides as well as the top, there is a lot of area to illuminate and the extra lights on the side are much appreciated. Don't hesitate, just buy it.

Large LG Fridge with lots of room inside
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Large, tall fridge with very wide shelves. I actually have a little bit of trouble reaching to the back corners of the top shelf, it is that big. Well lit, good number of compartments. The left door has space for small bottles, as it holds the ice maker. The ice maker and water through the door is ok, but how the water spout is positioned, there is no light, like there is for the ice dispenser. The right door has more room for larger juices, milk, etc. The doors can get heavy. The freezer is very nice, located on the bottom of the unit, with smooth rolling door and shelf inside, providing easy access to everything inside the freezer. The only mildly annoying thing about this fridge is that the right door has a flimsy pass through door on the inside of the right door. As I stand in front of the fridge with the doors open deciding what I want to eat, the door closes on me and it is heavy enough to "click" open the inner door, and it will flop open when I try to close the right door. It bugged me so much I taped it shut. Also, if I stand with the doors open for too long, it starts beeping at me to close the door. Other than those small annoyances, I like the fridge.

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit has everything we could have wanted. Bottom freezer with a ton of space, french doors with door in door for easy access and to reduce lost old air, and two ice makers. The door ice maker works perfectly for every day use. The bottom ice maker pumps out ice when you need it for entertaining or keeping things cold during travels. The option to turn the bottom ice maker on and off independently from the door freezer is great.

LG - Life is NOT Good with this refrigerator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG refrigerator is just over four years old... and the compressor quit. LG warranty is five years on the compressor but parts only. Labor is four times the cost of the part but worse, no one will make the repair. Gee, is that all? No. First problem was the upper ice maker fill tube was not properly installed. It leaked water down the front and stained the ‘stainless’ steel. LG claimed there was no defect and it was due to our use. They refused to repair. Except we ultimately had it repaired and the tech showed me how the full tube would shoot water outside the ice tray... and leak down the front. Think it only happened to me? Look at the LG used on a morning show on the Food Network. It’s the twin to mine, with the exact same staining on the front of their refrigerator. Too bad regarding these issues since this LG model really has some nice features that’s not available in other brands, like the dual ice makers. But $700 per year for the life of this refrigerator is just too high.

Great fridge and (but?) big!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great fridge no issues with fitting anything in it. However it does stick out 8" further than the counter. Shelves are adjustable and dual ice makers are great!

Worth considering...look for deals at Best Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had frig for about a month. So far... PROS: "Door-in-Door" feature, 3-door energy efficiency, quiet, attractive, good tasting water, interior lighting, generous freezer size, adequate ice for 4 people CONS: cost (when not on sale), fixed shelves on doors, fixed shelves on door not too deep, can only hold about 4/5 tall bottles w/o moving interior shelves, separate dispensers for cold water and ice is a little odd (why not have one?), lighting for dispenser is focused towards ice dispenser--which is less frequently used than cold water, cold water dispensed sometimes squirts, easy to leave finger prints on stainless steel finish--w/kids, always needs to be wiped. OTHER OPTIONS? Consider LG's 4-door version or GE's Cafe version (w/hot water button but no "Door-in-Door" feature).

Great refrigerator
