These phones are probably the only ones left on the market with a replaceable battery option. And honestly we did need the replacement after only 1.5 years of fast charging. If you're not using the fast charge i'm pretty sure you could get a max life of 2y on the battery. Ours just didn't last that long so I swapped them both out, and the phones are like brand new. With 3gb of ram its still works just fine, even today. It is slow when i have multiple things running or swapping consistently throughout tasks, but for running on 3rd year its a champ in my book.

The LG G5 is the previous generation and since I don't use all the bells and whistles, I don't miss the latest frill. The phone is fast, has great memory storage capability, extra clear screen, and probably most important, is UNLOCKED, enabling me to use service providers that are most competitive at the time. Oh yes, the cost is less than half of the cost of the most recent phone model release. I'm only glad everyone does not think like me, providing me with First Class service at a Coach price.

The specs of the Lg G5 rivals that of the S7 and Note 5 but a $100 more affordable. Great clean dual camera for wide-angle shots, metal casing, fast charging, lasting battery life and amazing display. Having the fingerprint sensor at the back is actually more user friendly. As someone who likes to journal i find QuickMemo is more handy than S Memo imo. Best Buy delivery was a day late but it was worth the extra wait Con: not IP68 water and dust resistant but I bought a protective case.

I needed to purchase a new phone, because the battery on my old phone wasn't lasting an hour, and of course it was not removable. I looked online for a good phone at a good price, and decided on the LG G5. I was a little weary about purchasing it at first because I had 2 LG G4's and the battery life was pathetic. WOW what an upgrade this phone is, battery life is awesome on the G5. Picture quality is great, it's super fast and does anything I need. Also the battery is EASILY replaceable if need be, or if you just want to swap out a battery instead of plugging it int.

Upgraded from a G2. Never had a problem so got another LG. Also price was right. Very nice phone. Size is right for me. Camera was also a reason to buy.

My wife's 2 year old Samsung Galaxy 5 died suddenly for no apparent reason despite never being abused and since I didn't want to give any carrier a 2 -3 year contract just so I could overpay for a phone (no real deals there for sure) I looked around for an unlocked phone and found this deal at Best Buy on the LG-G5. Solid phone, great cameras (my wife loves taking pictures), and does everything you'd expect from a smart phone at a very reasonable price.

I bought this LG G5 phone on sale for $249.99 to replace a Moto G 3rd gen. The difference is night and day. The G5 is very fast with the Snapdragon 820 processor and 4 GB RAM. It easily handles multi-tasking. Memory is adequate with 32 GB of storage. I'd compare it to a Samsung Galaxy S7 but at a much more economical price. One complaint is that there seems to be a lot of glare on the screen in sunlight.

I purchased the G5 after my Lg5x died on me. I didn't have time to research customer reviews before purchasing so I didn't know what I was getting into. The price and design were attractive but on the first day I experienced frequent frozen screens. Its been two weeks and so far no major issues. Its a decent phone for the price.

Always loved LG phones, had a G2, then went to a G3 and the G3 has lasted me a long time (years). Just upgraded to the 5 and even though the look is nearly identical to the g3 it's a great phone. Had it over a week, no issues, quick charge capability (new charger requirement stinks, all old charger cables useless), feels very solid, very fast, great camera, beautiful screen. All around solid phone I'd recommend to anyone trying to upgrade. No phone in this price category comes close in my opinion since I picked it up right after the g6 is coming out.

thin, light I like the fingerprint button, big screen, the icons are different from my samsung,takes a little getting used to, fast bluetooth coupling with no trouble, the battery charges pretty quickly and... the REPLACEABLE BATTERY is great! 100% charge in 30 seconds by replacing the battery, thought the battery has a pretty long life... about 2 days for me My old samsung lasted only 3/4 day. the rest remains to be seen... I have it a month but so far so good. Bought one for my wife and one for my daughter and docking stations and spare batteries.

overall this phone is a great value. When I brought this it was less than $300 and most recently I've seen it around $200. Honestly I would recommend this phone to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot and still get the best android experience. LG is a trusted brand and I hope it continues its great product line.

Picked this up for $249. It's a pretty nice phone at that price level... Speedy, stable, reliable, durable after a couple months of use.

This is an awesome phone. Its the basic Android system so it was an easy swap when I went from my 4-year-old phone to this one. The biggest thing for me was space on the phone for apps and pictures and with the almost unlimited space, i have yet to fill up my internal storage even with all the apps I downloaded (which happened on my other phone a lot!) also the battery charging time is insanely fast. I can go from 6% to 60% in what feels like only 20-30minutes. This is just an amazing purchase! Highly recommended.

This a very customisable phone. This was the only LG phone that i have really liked. Photos alone are a reason to buy this top of the line LG. The phone got a very bad rap. Truthfully I like this phone better than all that followed it. Lg6 lgv10 lvg20 lvg30 . plus anything you don't like about the setup you can change. I really liked the way LG5 stepped away from the pack and went with some new, different and a new direction. If you can still get one at a super price go for it. I highly recommended.

Easy to set up from online backup/restore account in the cloud. If you are transitioning from a phone more than one generation old be aware that this phone uses a nano sim card, not a micro. Your factory authorized cell provider should change out the card for free. Fingerprint unlock is a nice addition. At $300 this was a great buy for anyone who doesn't need to be on the leading edge of $800 technology.

Top end specs for the budge price and battery life is pretty good.
