Having owned 2 previous "G" series phones, a G3 and a G5, I have mixed feelings about the G7. On the good side, it is a much smoother and more user friendly phone. I like the increase in memory. The new 18:9 aspect ratio allows more content on the screen in landscape. The processors are very powerful and smooth. The negatives really stand out to me. It no longer has the IR remote feature. That is huge to me, I used it on both my G3 and my G5 nearly daily, as such I miss it more than most I am sure. The phone has the ability to add multiple terabytes of memory expansion, but you cannot use it where you really need it, apps. The phone lacks adequate RAM. I want a removable battery again. Time will tell if I stick with LG or not, both previous phones had issues with poor solder, resulting in catastrophic failures Gor both phones. With both phones it started with GPS antenna failure.

For years and years I had been on the Samsung wagon. TVs, phones, etc. One by one they all broke. I switched to LG and I am still rocking, and this phone is the best yet. Camera is amazing even in dark rooms. Very snappy, great looking screen. The battery lasts all day and like the G6, the thinner but taller 18x9 screen is easy to use without losing real estate. Definitely a great phone.

Have now had the LG G5 and G7 Thinq. My G5 was great until I dropped it on a construction site and the screen bit the dust. The G7 Thinq is a great phone that builds on alot of the positives of the G5/G6. Slim phone with a killer screen. Takes amazing photos and is lightning fast. It will get hot if you leave the screen brightness turned all the way up. Really i rarely turn mine up beyond 50% and can see everything flawlessly. One of my favorite new features is the reverberation feature that can be turned on to increase the volume on speaker phone. It makes a huge difference.

I ordered two of these phones online on a Thursday, one for me and one for my son. One phone arrived on Friday afternoon and the other on Saturday morning. . .EXCELLENT SERVICE! I was able to activate both phones from home. Since we both previously had working LG phones, I was able to import all the apps on the phones with the exception of two. The reason for that was those two apps were no longer available on the GOOGLE PLAY STORE. . .no big deal! We have had the phones for only a week but so far we are both very pleased with our purchase. Also, we are Sprint customers and were able to PURCHASE (not lease) the phones on a 24 month payment plan for $7.00 per month each. This phone sells for $782.00 to purchase outright!!!!! Hopefully, we will be using our new phones for a few years. My experience with smartphones is they last about 2 years and then the battery starts to wear down. On these new phones, we set it to battery saver mode after the first couple of days and that made a huge difference. After phone usage for about 12+ hours, I still have about 70% left. . .happy with that! If you happen to be in the market for a new phone, don't hesitate to buy this one. They always seem to have great deals on phones November-December!

Being a spring customer I couldn't pass up this phone as an upgrade from Galaxy S7. It is thin and the battery seems to last all day and then some. Of course, if it has to search for a signal then the battery gets drained quickly. I like the user interface though I would have liked all my "folders" on my old phone be transferred over ... I had not known about the second year warranty so that is a bonus (!). I had an LG G3 before and was very happy with that. SO I have the same expectations as for this G7.

This is the 2nd LG phone I've purchased. It is built solidly, and runs VERY fast! The notch on the screen is barely noticeable when watching videos. Love it.

I always have a good experience at Best Buy and I'm very happy with my new phone. Got a great deal on it and so far I'm glad that I didn't pay hundreds more for brand recognition. Screen is huge, pictures are amazing and it's packed with features. Had an LG phone years ago and it was very durable. We'll see about this one.

I'm coming from Galaxy S6. This phone has surpassed my expectations. I've always had Galaxy's, but the price point for the LG G7 Thinq and the 2nd year manufacturers warranty, was a no brainer to give this phone a try. Big brands like Samsung and Apple are just more expensive. And this phone does just as good as any of the Galaxy phones I've ever had or better. My husband has the S8 and likes my LG G7 Thinq more. He's a lil jealous. I would definitely say give this phone a try.

Upgraded to this from the G5, it is very intuitive and offers some very nice time saving features, a lot of my auto saved passwords actually trasnfered over with LGs mobile switch as well, camera takes great pictures and supposed it's water resistant, though I'm not anxious to test that out since I got burned by testing samsung's waterproof phones in the past. All in all, great phone and I got it for a great price.

I replaced my LG G6 after only one year. LG G7 is a great upgrade! LG put in the best Snapdragon processor available and you can really tell. The performance is lighting fast compared to the G6. Battery life is surprisingly good considering it has a lower rated battery to the G6. Everything about the G7 is faster. Audio on the G7 surprised me, the speakers on this phone are incredibly loud! The headphone DAC is amazing! So if you're into music get this phone.
