I have been a loyal customer to LG phone since 2013. Before purchasing the LG-G8, I owned a G6. The only reason I purchased the G8 was due to me dropping the G6 and shattering the screen. G8 hasn't disappointed me at all. I personally believe the camera is better than the competitors as I compare my pictures with my friends' pictures in the same settings. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because I feel that the keypad is a little too sensitive and often times I have to retype my message as the wrong letters are typed in. Not sure if this due to the curved design or not. Love everything else about it.

I bought this phone for just music, but use it now for movies music etc, it’s fast and the multitasking is great, the camera does better then the iPhone 11 Pro in most cases. Overall it’s a great phone.

The phone I had died. Luckily, I had done the research beforehand and decided on the LG G8 ThinQ.
It is an overall very good phone. The battery lasts for just a little over 2 days.
The only drawback is that I went from a phone with double the RAM, so, this does seem a little sluggish. This is a nit-picky issue.
The phone is completely customizable, I was amazed at all of the themes, wallpapers and icons there are to choose from.
I also like the fact that this is a wireless charging phone.

So far the phone is looking amazing. It is a huge improvement from the s8 plus but both the s10 and s8 still hold a lot. And at a great price. S10 3 cameras are a huge improvement very clear.

Its a great phone that competes easily with Samsung and apple products, just the speaker embedded in the screen was weird and made phone calls hard to hear and understand. Good phone, could use improving.

This phone is underrated. At this price point you get a solid well performing cell phone that checks a lot of the boxes. If you are still Into wired headphones with its quad DAC this is the phone for you.

Could not live without this phone! It's like a hand sized portable computer. Great sound. Never drops calls - of course that could be a good carrier - can you hear me now. Great battery life, you can use the phone while it charging and it doesn't get hot. LG is the most reliable device out there.

Ive been a LG phone user since G2 came out! In fact my G2 is still here and useful. U cant go wrong with the Gseries phones of lg. And g8 got it all together. My favorite part is the camera and the signature feature that you cant find in any other phone. Love it. Wont change lg g series for another one!

The LG G8 ThinQ is a perfectly adequate 2019 flagship device, but it fails to really stand out among the pack unless you really want a device that you can interact with hands free (thanks to what LG is calling "Air Motion."). For me, Air Motion felt like more of a gimmick than an actual useful feature and, quite honestly, it took more effort to activate the feature than to just pick up my phone or say "ok google" to accomplish what I needed. It's neat technology but, in my experience, doesn't seem quite ready for prime time. Outside of this feature, everything else feels pretty familiar from LG. I actually don't mind LG's take on Android, but it's becoming a bit stale - whereas Samsung completely overhauled their UI in conjunction with Android Pie (now dubbed "One UI), there is little perceptible difference between LG's UX on the LG 8 vs. the LG 7. One are where the G8 (and most LG phones) really shines is audio. The crystal OLED speaker is actually very cool technology that is further enhanced by the phone's resonance chamber (LG refers to this as Boombox). In addition, as usual, I've yet to find a better wired audio experience compared to what LG offers (and kudos to LG for retaining the headphone jack). Camera's are solid, but pictures seem a bit dull compared to those produced by other phones - I'm not a big picture-taker, so cameras are not particularly important to me - the cameras on the LG G8 were perfectly adequate for my use. The hardware is solid and familiar - although I wish lg would Bring back the power button doubling as the fingerprint sensor! It's a sleek device with minimal bezels, a notch, and a premium build that is rated for high durability. Battery life is average, but adequate for the everyday user. Perhaps my biggest complaint with the LG G8 (and all LG phones, for that matter) is their absolutely abysmal updates. Even with the establishment of a so-called "software center" LG continues to struggle updating its phones in a timely fashion. Many of LG's flagship devices, including the LG G7, are JUST getting Android Pie with Android Q only a month away! That's simply inexcusable for any OEM, let alone one with an alleged dedicated software center focused on more timely updates. In addition, the LG G8 is priced too high in my opinion for what it offers. If you can snag the G8 on sale, it's a pretty good buy. At full price, however, it's hard to justify. I ended up returning my LG G8 not because there was anything wrong with it (outside of my legitimate concerns regarding software updates); rather, I returned it because the phone really didn't give me a reason to want to keep it when compared to other devices. I ended up purchasing the OnePlus 7 Pro which, while not perfect, offered more bang for the buck when compared to the G8 ThinQ. If LG can remedy its awful approach to software updates and price its devices more competitively, I think its flagship offerings (including the G8) would be more compelling buys.

Amazing phone especially with the Android 10 update. Perfect size for one handed use and feels very solid in hand. This is a much better phone than my Samsung S10!! LG has earned my dollars going forward. Excellent build quality, flush cameras, no speaker grills, headphone jack and smooth software and great battery life. For this price it's a steak!

This phone is fast, takes great pictures and sounds great alone or with wired headphones. The face unlock works quick, the screen quality is great and it has a thin frame that’s fits great in your hand. Definitely recommend
