I have been having issues with this product from day one, problem is I can't make calls with my phone and I can't send regular messages as well, all I am able to do is utilize the various Apps on my phone, I contacted my service provider and was told there's nothing they can do about it since it is was not purchased directly from them, so now I am stocked with a phone that is literally not functioning as it should, I would appreciate a replacement since it's still under warranty. Thanks.

I bought first time LG from best buy. I don't like this phone cause i have to use Samsung .and this phone is slow working.

I recently purchased a new unlocked G8. When I activated service with Boost Mobile, it was shown as successfully configured and activated. I had bars and 4G. But whenever I attempted a phone call it would immediately say 'mobile network not available.' I did a complete factory reset and exhausted every troubleshooting step there is. Boost then advised I should send it back to the manufacturer. I suspected that maybe the problem was poor support from Boost, so I ported my number over to Tello. Nope, same exact problem. 'mobile network not available' when trying to make a call. I again exhausted every troubleshooting step and was led to sending the device back to LG. They're probably gonna send me an older, refurbished phone. And on top of this, the phone went $100 cheaper a few days after the purchase (via Amazon price match).

I'd have returned the phone if I hadn't left the packaging at home and was away for too long to return it. It's stuttery even in places like the setting menu and apps tend to crash and misbehave quite a bit on this phone. Sound isn't all that great nor is the screen in my opinion compared to my previous phone which was an S9+. I bought this phone based on the price, specs, and urgent need of a replacement but now wish I had bought a $50 burner phone instead until I could have made a better choice. The years old S9+ is superior to the G8 in just about every way besides the finger print scanner which seems to be the only thing they did well.

I've had the phone for six months and already it has stopped working. The screen is just black. When someone calls, I can't see who it is. It doesn't respond to the double tap to wake up the phone. The screen just stays black. It used to display the time and notification 24/7. It no longer does that, just a black screen. And LG is the worst. Phone is still under warranty, in fact it's under the "2 year LG promise" but they are making me jump through hoops to get a replacement. I have to schedule a repair first IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC!! Ridiculous. Do yourself a favor, get another brand.

Only a few months old. The screen freezes and lags. The phone overheats. Worthless. And I have to go through hell to get it fixed

Got the 15$ a month lease which is amazing for a phone of this caliber. I agree with others who say that the "experts" are simply overloaded and have missed the boat on alot of things that common users will come to appreciate with the G8. First off, the speed, memory, build, display, sound, and cameras are all top notch... those all qualify this as a competent flagship.... Battery life also is excellent compared to my V30 which I returned for this... The bottom line is that any competent person who goes with this device will, over time, learn the insides and outs of its functionality and probably come to love it... The core components of the phone are solid and reliable and not 'gimmicky' compared to other competitors. But that's OK... you can get the phone at a great price due to Samsung's dominance and the allure of the Huawei that the majority of Americans won't ever own... I'd say this a smart choice for many consumers.

The phone i order i sent it back because it wouldn't work when you turned the phone on it would get really hot.
