So far my wife loves this phone. She upgraded from the LG G7 and says this phone is just like it in many ways, but better of course. Better camera modes and the dual screen is quite handy for multitasking with multiple apps simultaneously. Overall very pleased with the phone and I gotta say, it might be my next phone too!

Excellent graphics and sound from internal speaker, great bluetooth pairing, great price for a dual-screen device, great storage capacity, easy to fit in purse/deep pocket. Hate that LG decided to discontinue it before speaking to the customers about it. A very good phone.

I like the phone. I do like the dual-screen but find I don't use as much as I thought due to the weight of both together. I am happy I got it. It was a great value at Best Buy. So no regrets. I will say i like the way Samsung sets up their version of software. As I was used to a Samsung.

I bought this phone about 3 months ago. Overall its a cool phone, especially with the duel screen. There are just a few issues I am having with it. For example, the keyboard dissappears while I'm typing sometimes. It just happened 2 times while typing this sentence. Another thing is that there isna dead pixel on the top left of my screen. Its not that big of a deal because its hard notice it but you still notice it if you pay close attention. Im sure if I contact LG they would replace my phone with their manufacturers warranty, I just havent gotten around that. But aside from these issues this phone is awesome. The battery lasts 8+ hours with youtube running the entire time. I still like my phone and would definately recommend it to someone who multitasks on their phone alot.

Bought this phone as a replacement for my daughter. She had found it online a while back and was gaga over it. I was apprehensive about it at first but after getting hands on with it, it is a solid phone. A little thick for my tastes but my daughter loves the dual screens. It multitasks well. Would reccomend if you are looking for this style of phone.

Loved the dual screens. Allowed me to run multiple apps at the same time. Like Outlook mail and calendar. Only negative is that there are not too many apps that take advantage of the dual screens in a more valuable way.

Indeed, two screens seems to be the new “gimmick” for a smart phone; however, I find the G8x to be quiet effective in my daily use. The phone is a bit “chunky” but the that thought seems to pass when you consider how the added screen/functionality adds to your ability to multitask (if you are a power user of your smartphone). Glad I made the purchase!

This Phone is Good But It Is Not Worth The Money!

While overall this is a very nice phone, and I especially love the display and some of the other features, I just come to the conclusion, before I return this thing, that is just not worth the money. In the first place the dual screen display is for all practical purposes useless - a gimmick. The mere fact of being able to look at two different screens while running two different apps is not necessary at all except in the most extreme situations. It really doesn't do what it claims it does even when sliding one app from the main screen over to the second screen - in most cases it doesn't work! The battery life is not good either especially if you use the dual screen a lot. What I also found out was that shortly after I bought it LG released the upgrade to android 10, which totally wiped out the dual screen feature. It was later on in the day a second firmware update was released to correct the dual screen issue and which also removed a couple of the default dual screen apps! When I called LG support, apparently they weren't even aware of this and told me to just reset the phone! The other very annoying thing is, not being able to find another case for the phone. The dual screen does come with a case to mount the main unit into, but it's not a very good case. The outside or third screen and the camera area which is very exposed for some reason, are very susceptible to being scratched or damaged in any situation of being dropped! The outside vendor screen protectors do not work! I've noticed in many reviews people loved this phone, and frankly I'd like it too, but there's just too many things that can go wrong, while not having a lot of things that go right! I thought getting this phone would allow me to go on Facebook for example, look at the image or video of what I was responding to, and being able to type it in on the other screen. In reality that is not what happens and even if there is an app to do that, how much work would it be to get it to work. The concept of this phone is wonderful, it just needs to be more refined, and more standard. The other problem is when using the dual screen, the magnetic connector that connects the USB – C cord, is a totally bad idea, and does not allow this when the dual screen is mounted to use a USB- C adapter to connect anything else such as a separate hard drive, although it will allow you to connect to a computer. Overall for me, the phone is impractical. I do not carry my phone in my hand as many do nor do I carry my phone in my butt pocket as many do. The third screen is going to get scratched! If you carry it in a holster is too much trouble to keep pulling it out thereby increasing the chances of it being dropped! Because it is a dual screen apparently nobody is going to make a holster on which to carry it. And although you can fold the dual screen back 180° against the main phone, now you make that dual screen susceptible to being damaged or scratched! Just not practical!

I'm still getting used to the phone, but so far it has worked well. Good battery life, bright screen and tons of storage space. The dual screen seems to work well and I have used it to view email on one side with reports or web pages on the other side.

I have always been a LG user since the LG Rumor. the G8X Dual screen is an amazing feature especially if you are into multitasking or mobile gaming. Being able to play Runescape or LoL's Teamfight Tactics while doing something on the other screen is great. Or you can even watch youtube while on the phone.

I love this phone! To be able to type with an almost full size keyboard is amazing! Every multitasker must have this phone. The ease of having two screens when comparing items when shopping or reviewing documents for work, is great! Plus, it's a phone. Playing with the game pad is a blast. This phone is amazing without the pain of paying excessive sum of money. But if i am to improve this phone, I'll make the top screen to be the main phone so I do not have to open it just to see my contacts and be able to call. Actually, I usually leave this phone like that, where I flip the dual screen to the back of the main screen so i always have the main screen on top. Hopefully I am not ruining this great work of art!

I was an apple fan until this amazing product from LG. This phone allows me to multi task with spread sheets and video, texting, talking and surfing and so much more. The sound quality is just as amazing as the picture quality. My favorite feature is the tablet mode where I can turn off one screen, put it on tablet mode and put on a video. The only thing i have to say negative about it is that I cannot find a case or cover for it other than the one it came in. Accessories are also had to find.

I really liked this phone. Has 2 beautiful screens to look at and you can really do true multitasking. The real downfall with this phone is that when you want to make both screens into 1 singular large screen, the gap in the middle is so wide, it throws off your balance or how you view things. I couldn’t get past that. If you want to use the phone as 2 separate screens at once, then this is the phone for you.

This is my first LG phone and it's great. The speed on which it loads is impressive. The dual screen is really helpful. I'm so glad I went with this instead of the much pricier Samsung Fold
