My boss has this same monitor brand new and it has been great for him. So I opted to save a few dollars and get a the certified refurbished version thinking it would only have a little wear and tear. The monitor I received was a in large, heavily air cushioned boxed, which was nice to see. Once I opened it though, I saw the heavily tattered original packaging. I don't inherently have a problem with the monitor being taped back up in its original packaging, but this was tattered to the point of concern. Like this box looks like it's been some places. When I opened it up, a chunk of broken off styrofoam packaging fell out and the protective cover over the monitor was loosely put on with several tears, all of which is never reassuring. At this point I felt lucky that at least all the necessary items were included. I set the monitor up and turned it on only to find in the bottom left corner two small cracks in the display with a tiny batch of dead pixels. I looked at the bottom left corner of the monitor's frame and it was cracked, looking like it had been dropped or slammed in that spot. With all of that, I think it's a fair assumption that this obvious damage to a monitor was missed during the "refurbishing" process, and not due to shipping because the outer box had so much air cushioning. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed.

Such a great screen, Cristal clear, cake to set up and wall mount (yes I was missing the 2 screws as well, but as stated I wall mounted the screen anyway and for about a dollar you can get the 2 screws lol)

I ordered this because this was one of the best budget friendly 4k monitor for mix home+office work as per my findings. when I received this, it was completely unusable, two main issues:- A) 2 screws to connect to monitor stand were missing. This being refurbished this was kind of okay and hence turned the monitor on. B) Power on without connecting with laptop ( this is good method to check pixel - bleeding/factory issue) and it was bleeding in the 3-4 inches above - bottom left corner. C) connect with laptop. used Microsoft paint brush (take a full size - image and fill with different color and check), B) will always there, and another issue found was 2-3 pixels in the center were always white.. I had no choice but to return !!! initial local best buy store could not find this model in the system and did a lot of scrutiny and checks before accepting back the monitor !!!

Beautiful accurate images. This monitor required very little calibration out of box and was super easy to setup. Unfortunately there is a single dead pixel that can be noticed during bright scenes, but this is to be expected with an IPS panel. The blacks are very deep and very minimal backlight bleed. IPS panels are essentially luck-of-the-draw.

Refurb came with all the parts and looks spot on new. Color, brightness, etc are great. Does not appear to be any lag in gaming. Mounted easily to my VESA arm. Can't beat the refurb price. Was packed extremely well (original box inside a MUCH larger box).

You wouldn't know that this was a refurbished monitor. Came well packaged, no physical defects, mounted to my wall mount arm easily, and connections are easily accessible on the back. Looks great and built in speakers are decent enough.

We bought this to match our other monitor to run in our dual monitor set up. It was refurbished so we are starting to see odd colors in the corners. Still good picture quality.

I USE THIS MONITOR FOR MY LOREX CAMERA SET UP AT THE SHOP. i'VE ALSO PURCHASED ONE OF THESE PREVIOUSLY.

Really like this monitor it does what it says great speed and picture quality.

Monitor came in large bubble wrap packaging but looked okay. Week after purchase I finally hit a day off to put it together. Powered it on. And there was a large crack in the top right corner. Compromising the entire picture. When online to see what the return process was they said take it back to a store. Store. Said I waited too long to return it and then I only had 72 hours to return it. $450 paperweight. Thanks. Best buy for selling my garbage online and not honoring the purchase. Consumers beware

I bought open box for value, however, there is not too much discount from original price. Trade off bet discount and warranty of open box. So far, working fine after 1 month.

Excellent color. I use it for color correction. Make editing faster and more fun

Amazing resolution and a slick looking design for the price

Similar to previous reviewer. The only thing missing were the two M2 or M3 screws that attach the stand to the back of the monitor. I will not knock off stars for this as I knew this was a recertified product that could be missing something. Packaging was very good and the shipment arrived 3 days after ordering. The monitor itself looks new and the picture quality is amazing. I play Overwatch and World of Warcraft on a GTX 980 with all settings maxed out and 4k resolution looks absolutely flawless! Though missing two 50 cent screws, the price more than makes up for this! Very happy customer!

I love this monitor, I bought one brand new a month ago, and decided I wanted to get a second one. First the second one I went with the Geek Squad Certified refurbished and am extremely happy with the decision. Monitor came with everything in the box, no items were missing at all, not even the manuals. Monitor is working perfectly, with no defects/blemishes to any of the items. Feels like I bought the monitor new!

Great monitor. Gorgeous color and resolution and design. The 1 star review on here is just from a bitter guy who’s missing a cover. Big deal it happens. Go to Best Buy and tell them and they’ll fix it.

Super excited today, I got my confirmation email that my new monitor arrived. I came home and seen a huge box which contained the monitor I order. Opened the box to find the original box inside and package very well for shipping. Took out the box within the box containing my new geek squad certified monitor and found that the box was in great shape. I carefully cut open the box, I found the power cord, two cables, the lower part of the stand and the neck that connects the stand and monitor together. I then removed the monitor and found it in perfect condition as well. I was very satisfied. I seen on the box how to assemble the stand to the monitor. I screwed the neck onto the bottom and then proceeded to attach the monitor. To my surprise, I'm missing the two screws and the cover. So unfortunately I did not get to power it up and take it for a test drive. I packed it back up the way I received it and will be returning it tomorrow. A Geek Squad Certified FAIL! Very disappointed.
