Come on LG...$499? Seriously?

Now I must admit this is a sweet soundbar. The integrated LEDs, audio via bluetooth, usb, and optical are possibly a first with a gaming soundbar. However, with that being said, I believe that LG is trying to take advantage of the "firsts" moniker and charge as much as they see fit without being too overzealous. Well they failed in that aspect because with all those added features it is still a soundbar and should be no more that $299. I'll be honest and will probably return it based on the price alone. When LG come to their senses I'll purchase again for keeps.

Got on sale For 300.00 Definitely not worth 500 for 300 price is fair it does have good sound 3-D effect works well can be low on volume sometimes. You have to be looking for a sound bar . Works well with out woofer . This sound bar is definitely not over the top which It should be for the $500 price tag.

I was really excited to get this speaker. There are a few things that i did not like. The sound is good and the bass is ok. What i had issues with is controling the sound via my computer. Sometimes programs tend to run louder and then some tend to run softer so I have turn it up or down often. I did try using this in bluetooth mode and it is ok. I feel there are better bluetooth speakers at a lower price point with a smaller footprint.
I did get these on sale but even at $399 it is not worth that price. I will be looking at logitech for great computer speakers or other bluetooth speakers,

As just a soeaker or soundbar the LG sounds great but it can be easy to see why so many prople think the MSRP is overpriced. Once you realize that this has a Flagship grade ESS quad DAC (found in products upwards of $1K) and enough power to drive the most demanding of high impedance headphones, you begin to understand where LG soent most of their money. Not only is the DAC amazing, but it can become you audio with all the options for connectivity. I even use a typ C cable to connect my phone and have this be my DAC/amp for my phone and HD800s. I am impressed by this thing and would definitely recommend it to those looking for All in One solutions for their audio.

Great speaker. Quality sound. Nice look. Easy to use app. FOS mode is useful for sure. RTS mode I don’t really find a use for that since cars next to me Can be heard in any mode. If you get it on sepa cual it is worth it. Looks amazing on a gaming setup.

It’s a $500 paper weight lol. Might be good for PC but we had the matching monitor and it cannot be hooked up to it ! That’s crazy LG ! Your product and your monitor and they can’t work together ? Xbox series X and PS5 don’t have optical ports so you can’t hook it up to the console either. If LG ever modified it maybe in the future it might be worth it but for now stay away. LG customer support was no help either. They said it could hook to the monitor with an optical adapter I tried it and it didn’t work. Funny thing is I can hook up a nose speaker with the 3.5mm jack on the monitor but the LG speaker won’t even connect like that

I love LG products in general and I like the concept of this speaker. I don't mind paying $500 if it does what it's supposed to do.
I was genuinely disappointed.
1. Sound quality: probably the biggest disappointment. Most $150 speakers sound better than this.
2. Mic: I use $79 Jabra speaker/mic for my work and on my first meeting with my colleague, he said there's an echo and I sound like I'm in a bathroom.
3. Compatibility: No integration with Teams, Google Meets, Discord, etc means constant double mutes and other inconveniences.

Man this thing is loud! I recommend you create a custom EQ though because the preconfigured ones are garbage. The built in mic works great to. It's really good at isolating you voice from ambient noise and doubles as an external DAC.

The sound quality is pretty good on the speaker side but part of the advertising on this system is based on the intelligent microphone. I have had nothing but complaints about the microphone from people. This would be fine if it didn’t cost $500.

Bought is because it was supposed to be unique to the LG going monitor, but it was typical sounder that has fancy lights and fit between the base of the monitor. The quality and the sound does not justify the price and ease of use. Just buy Bose instead.

Great product and was exactly what I wanted. Only thing was I couldn't justify the price. Not sure why LG had to price it so high. If it was $200 I would be rebuying it. Instead I can to get rid of it. I am instead using a Vizio sound bar on sale for $80 and compact. Works perfectly and isn't over priced.
