Great purchase for price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was shopping for an unlocked phone because my other phone was going out. I went to Best Buy and Oliver assisted me. He was very nice and very knowledgeable about the different phones. This LG K8 is fast and very nice for the price. I haven't had any issues with the phone and I'm able to do everything I need to do. So, if you buy this phone you will not be disappointed. I'm happy with my purchase.

I do NOT recommend this phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this phone right now. I ordered it here and have had it for awhile now. I do NOT recommend this phone because the battery life sucks, i have to charge twice if I use it often. The size isn't a big deal seems pretty small to me. The screen itself is kind of small. Not a big fan. I'm kind of disappointed in LG because I have bought their products before and they were good, but this one just isn't it.

LG Aristo 2 Provides More At Lower Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 2018 LG K8 is a basic version of the LG Aristo 2 at MetroPcs and the KG Aristo 2 Plus at T-Mobile. The Aristo 2 adds bands for stronger signals in rural areas, adds WiFi calling and better cameras. And, the Aristo 2 has a much lower price. So, who does the LG K8 make sense for? It has the basic GSM bands used by AT&T and used in many nations around the world. So, someone traveling outside the USA could use the K8. However, the LG Aristo allows you to make WiFi calls from Europe to the USA for free. The K8 lacks WiFi calling.

Get a flip phone instead
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is useless for any application. I wouldn't expect a budget phone to run 3d apps well, but this one can't handle Uber, Snapchat, Google Maps, or any mainline application. It can barely even browse the web and has an input lag in the keyboard of over a second. And this is if you are diligent about manually closing every application after you use it. The phone will happily continue to keep apps open, causing it to stutter and break under the pressure to the point where the keyboard input lab gets as insane as 5 second. This phone is worth less than zero dollars. I'd just get a flip phone instead.
