Fantastic monitor. I didn’t even need to buy a TV. Im shocked this isn’t way more expensive

MyView smart monitor is a good monitor with its 4K display and HDR potential, the monitor's internal oS being built-in to the monitor itself to use as a hub outside of being connected to a computer is great for your favorite streaming apps and accessing WFH tools such as Microsoft 365 and Google applications all without a PC and even pairing with Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to work without a computer. Multiple ports give assurance that the monitor will be compatible with all your devices. The remote control for the monitor makes this easy to control without having to use buttons on the monitor itself. Although the product is nearly flawless, connecting many of the accessories, such as the power source or HDMI, to this monitor can be cumbersome. Using solely the USB-C connection, which also charges my laptop, did not provide the same clarity or picture quality as the HDMI connection, presenting a hindrance for me. Still, with the possibilities of this monitor and the simple design that virtually frameless this is a really solid monitor that will generally look good and is ideal for work and school from home.

I upgraded to the LG MyView 27” UHD monitor to add smart TV functionality to my dual-monitor work setup. My previous secondary monitor was HD-only, which made it hard to work on spreadsheets side-by-side due to the resolution difference. This 4K monitor solved that and added some impressive versatility. Getting this monitor set up was a breeze—just unbox it, clip the stand in, and secure it with three screws. The flat white design with average-sized bezels gives it a clean and classic look. I also appreciate the matte finish of the screen, as it cuts down on glare from the windows in my office. Build quality is solid, and it fits well in my workspace. The MyView monitor has two HDMI ports, a USB-C, and two USB-A ports, offering some basic hub capability. If you rely on DisplayPort, though, keep in mind this model doesn’t have one. I had to make some adjustments since my dock has only one HDMI out, but I managed with my other monitor on DisplayPort. For my setup, this configuration works, but it’s something to check based on your gear. The smart TV features are where this monitor stands out. Initially, it was a bit strange to connect a monitor to Wi-Fi, but the WebOS setup is straightforward. While I’d like a simpler interface with fewer pre-installed apps (I only use about a third of them), the smart functionality is just what I was looking for. Now I can keep the news on in the background or easily switch to TV mode when guests are staying in the office. For close-up, everyday use, the speakers are more than adequate. I don’t use them for anything too loud, but they’re clear enough for watching a movie from a short distance. They work great as a secondary function for TV watching, though I wouldn’t rely on this as the main entertainment center for a larger room. Overall I'm pretty happy with this monitor as an addition to my setup, the UHD (4K) resolution looks sharp in my setup and the convenient smart TV features that make it perfect for work, play, and everything in between. If you’re looking for a flexible display that can double as a casual TV, this is a great choice.

I’ve been using this monitor for a few weeks, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The design is sleek and modern, fitting perfectly into my workspace. The image quality is outstanding with vibrant colors, sharp 4K resolution, and excellent viewing angles. It handles everyday tasks effortlessly and performs well. The build quality feels sturdy, and setup was quick and straightforward. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a reliable display that also looks great.

I purchased two of these monitors to use in a Dual 27 inch 4K productivity Work-From-Home Setup. My hardware configuration is as follows: -Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 Business Class -Microsoft Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock -Dual LG My View 27" 4K Monitors (Side by Side) -8bitdo NEW Retro Keyboard (Love it too) -Logitech MX Master 3S Mouse -NES Classic 2018 Edition Connected to a monitor These Monitors work extremely well for this productivity work from home setup I have. The image quality of the IPS 4K 60 HZ monitors look great and they fit on my desk perfectly without any overhang on either side and they aren't too big like if I would have gone with 32inch displays. I'm able to use the monitors in different ways with having a dual setup. I like that versatility. A lot of people complain about the built-in speakers, I actually find them perfectly acceptable and fine for my needs. One thing to note with my setup with the Surface Laptop 5 and the Surface thunderbolt dock. Even though the Dock has all USB-C video output ports and these monitors have USB-C inputs for upstream. Using two Thunderbolt / USB-C cables did not allow both monitors to work at 4K 60 Hz Refresh rate. One would work at 4K 60 Hz and the other would do 4K at 30 Hz. No matter what I did. What solved the issue was buying the J5create USB-C to HDMI 2.1 Cables and using those instead, hooked up to the HDMI 1 input on these monitors. That allowed me to get the full 4K 60 Hz on both monitors without any issues. I've used some of the Smart T.V. functionality on them like Netflix and AirPlay 2 which both work great. The only thing you need to be aware of when you have these in a dual display setup is that the remote uses IR and will trigger both displays if you don't cover one of the displays IR receiver to the bottom of it. It's not a big deal to me as when I want to use the second monitor or something else, I just cover the IR on the one I don't want to get triggered and do what I need to do. I would recommend these for the purposes I outlined in my review. The price I bought them at on sale made this a great buy.

When I received my new LG - My View 27" IPS UHD 60Hz Smart Monitor Model # 27SR73U, I eagerly and carefully unpackaged it and easily assembled its substantial stand using the 3 supplied screws, while conferring with the instructive drawings on the supplied Quick Setup Guide. Neatly packaged in the box with the Monitor are its Power Cord, its Remote Control and a High-Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet. The Quick Setup Guide does recommend using the supplied components. After transporting the Monitor to my work area, I connected the HDMI Cable to one of the two HDMI ports on the Monitor to my laptop, pulled out the thin plastic shield from the battery that is already installed in the Remote Control and then plugged in the Monitor's Power Supply. Tapping the Power Button on the Remote brought this 350 NITS bright IPS LCD screen to life with brilliant, saturated HDR10 format colors on the LG MyView Smart Monitor's Home Page with awesome 1000:1 Contrast. From the Home Page, I used the Remote Control and my cell phone to setup my favorite streaming applications relatively quickly. I opened Netflix and ran through several of the previews to watch this monitor in action. I appreciated the quick 5 ms Response Time and the 60Hz Refresh Rate of this monitor, as colors were awesome and motion was smooth. The Monitor's integrated speakers put out more than adequate sound. Then, using the PC icon on the lower left corner of the Home Page, I swiftly switched from the Smart Monitor's built in applications to the feed from my laptop. My laptop is a 13.4" and it was fantastic being able to utilize the relatively massive space provided by this 27" monitor with a 3840 x 2160 dpi resolution. Other good things about this LG Smart Monitor are the multiple other pages that can be accessed off of the MyView Smart Monitor's Home Page - Home Office, Games, Music, Home Hub, and Sports. These will lead to even more applications to access. Then there is the 'Free on LG Channels', which present a variety of free movies and shows. I find the LG - My View 27" IPS UHD 60Hz Smart Monitor to be a brilliant choice for both my home entertainment and for ample high-resolution workspace.

I purchased two of these for an affordable dual 4K monitor setup. The monitor edges are noticeable but acceptable at this price point. The plastic bezel along the top and sides are 2mm and the margin to the screen along those edges is 0.25”. The picture is great for “office work” while the built in speakers produce an unsurprisingly mediocre sound. Since the remote controls are IR-based, both monitors respond to a single remote. This is convenient for when I want to do things simultaneously such as change the volume or turn the monitors on/off. However, it’s inconvenient when I want to control a single monitor, such as accessing the built in apps or settings. The simple solution is to cover the IR receiver on the opposite monitor so that it doesn’t react to the remote’s IR signal. This monitor will not function as a traditional tv because it lacks an ATSC tuner.

The LG MyView Smart Monitor combines great display quality with built-in smart features, making it ideal for both work and streaming. The picture is crisp, colors are vibrant, and setup was quick. Having apps directly on the monitor is very convenient, eliminating the need for extra devices.

I have used alot of panels and this one from LG made me do a double take. Deep blacks and rich colors. Beautiful display.

I work from my laptop a lot more often now. I wanted a bigger screen and I needed something more than my ipad to view movies so this screen fits both purposes. The clarity and color is amazing and it's so easy to work on spreadsheets and other detailed documents--no more squinting or sliding from left to right.

This is a wonderful item! Good for monitor, clearly display and can charge my notebook at same time. I don't need extra power cord to outlet, just one usb type-c. display and provide power, cool. When I need some rest, just switch to other channels, then my favorite TV show. Only thing, no camara. Of course, my notobook can do.

Great monitor, works perfectly with my PS5. The colors and quality is breath taking for the price. I am super happy with this monitor and it’s also a smart monitor so you can watch shows and YouTube with it. And yes they do have speakers in it. Obviously not the best but still get the job done.

I think this is a great fit for my mac. The colors are bold and vibrant. I like how you can use it as a tv, gaming, it could also be used as a portable screen for PS or Xbox, or stand alone.

My wife and I just purchased four of these monitors for our work (two each), and they are very nice. The size is good, especially for a standard sit/stand desk, we love the white color as opposed to black or gray. Plus it’s nice to have a monitor that also doubles as a smart TV.

Depending on your use case this may not affect you, but given mine it's a deal breaker. If you plan on using more than one of these in the same room, please pay attention and stay away! I bought two of these for my work where I use dock to extend the screen which works great with the HDMI port, and also I am planning on one of them being able to use the smart side of the monitor to view the streaming services we have subscribed to as well as YouTube and such, but it has turned into a nightmare. The remotes that come with this monitor are infrared and ONLY infrared despite this monitor having Bluetooth capabilities. If you have two or more of these monitors in close vicinity (or say as a dual monitor setup), any time you push a button on one remote it will affect all monitors. So if I change on one monitor the other will effect. Same with volume via the remote, trying to select a streaming service, video, HDMI input, etc.

I purchased this monitor because I wanted a bigger monitor for my 2nd monitor in my WFH setup but I didn't want anything too big. This 27" is perfect in my opinion. I tried out a 32" and that was just too big for me and kind of hurt my eyes. Also I have a 23" monitor that is provided by my job so I didn't like how much space the 32" took up so I opted for the 27". Now my setup is complete. I wanted this monitor mainly because it's white and matches the aesthetic of my all white office. Next I wanted to be able to hook up my work laptop and personal laptop without having to switch out cords. I use this LG as my main monitor for work (windows laptop) and as my monitor to set up my personal MacBook Air. I absolutely love this monitor. Not only is it cute in my office but it is very functional. I have my work dock hooked up to this monitor via the HMDI port and another monitor hooked up to the same dock via the display port so I can use my two monitors while working my 9-5. After work when I am ready to work on my personal laptop I use the remote to switch the input which is connected to my MacBook Air via the USB-C port. Because this USB-C port has a pass through charge I don't have to have my MacBook charger connected. Yes, you can even use two monitors without using the charger with the MacBook Air as long as one of them is using this passthrough USB-C. The 4K picture on this monitor is beautiful. Prior to this monitor I tried another smart monitor and was not at all happy about the picture quality but this LG picture quality is amazing. It's very easy to switch between the LG Home, and each device I have connected. There can be a little bit of lag when moving through apps but with 60gh refresh it's better than expected. I am not a gamer so I cannot say whether this would be good for gaming but I love that I have an extra HDMI port to connect another device should I need to. The only con to this is that I cannot do PIP. I read on the BB site an LG rep said you could but when I reached out to LG they said you couldn't so I was a little disappointed about that. I recommend this monitor for anyone who works from home or is a student and uses multiple devices. I don't know how much I will use the apps to watch TV but that is a great option for college students who live in a small dorm. Having this double as a monitor and TV is a great feature.

I bought this primarily to monitor my security cameras while I’m in the office, it has a great picture and the added bonus of also having streaming capabilities. I didn’t realize that at purchase but I’m enjoying it!

This TV has grwat quality picture and sound despite its size. Comes with a lpad of apps and great for an inexpensive gaming monitor. The three (3) HDMI inputs provide multiple options for connecting.

This has been a great upgrade for the desktop in my bedroom. The picture quality is sharp and clean and it's easy to read from any angle. I love that it doubles as a smart TV with webOS, so I can stream YouTube or Netflix when im in bed. The USB-C port is a huge plus because it can recharge my laptop while using it as a second monitor for my MacBook when I need it. Setup was fast, the interface is simple, and even the built-in speakers are better than expected. Great value and genuinely useful features.
