We have not used a microwave for almost 2 years. Ultimately the convenience factor won out. This model, LC NewChef .9 cf Compact is good for us. It's small but more powerful than most 'compact' mw's on the market. You might do well enough spending $69 - this one was over $150. Look at the features carefully and make your decision. I found controls a little confusing, and reading the manual was mind-blowing in both good and complex/bad ways. It cooks very evenly and completely. I haven't the time to try all the stuff it claims to do. Honestly, I am glad to have it and I expect long-term durability from LG. But, in the future I might look for something less techno, more simple, lower cost.

Love this microwave. Easy to use roomy inside yet doesn't take up a lot of counter space best microwave I've ever had cant say enough good things. I definitely would recommend it

Panasonic Counter tops are the best in the market place. My previous one lasted 22 years. This one is really sleek design. The interior light appears to be an LED one. Hopefully not requiring the bulb replacement ever. Very powerful machine. Reasonably quiet while operating.

We had to replace our microwave and wanted something that was comparable in size, power, and could fit in the cramped space we had. This microwave did not disappoint. The LED light is nice and bright, without being glaring. The cooking is even and predictable. Granted, our old microwave could keep the middle of a casserole frozen while boiling the outside, so our expectations weren't high. However, it really does cook well. It also takes up less space than the old microwave, while being larger capacity, which was an added bonus in our small kitchen. It's a whole lot quieter than microwaves we've had before. That goes double for the timer noise. Instead of a screeching beep that wakes up anyone still asleep, it plays a cheerful little tune. This is probably my favorite part of the whole microwave. It's silly, but I love it. The buttons presses and other noises are also more pleasant chimes compared to the piercing beep of previous microwaves. The only downside is that you can't just punch in the time you need. It has a plus and minus button to add time, 10 seconds at a time until around three minutes, which then adds 30 seconds at a time. So if you need precision down to the second, you'll just have to watch it. I thought it might be a problem with baking, but the ten seconds is fine enough, even with softening butter. I haven't yet figured out most of the other built-in settings, as I just stick with cooking by time, though I did like how un-fussy the defrost function was.

Quite, Efficient, Extremely powerful and easy to operate!

This is the 2nd LG exact model I’ve purchased. Has full power rating, can handle full size dinner plate and does a great job cooking. LG really did it right with this one.

I LOVED it up until i didn't. Beautiful microwave. Got tons of compliments. Functionality was perfection. My favorite was gliding my finger across the (+ and - ) vs pressing numbers. But then... the insides started peeling. Then a tiny spot in the corner on the inside started rusting. Now the majority of the interior is peeling and rusting. Including under the turntable plate. The wheels and everything is rusted. Gross looking and most definitely unsafe. I figured maybe the wheels retained water after a cleaning. But cmon, after a use or two, any remaining water would dry up, correct? Even so, there shouldnt be THAT much water in the wheels to cause rusting. And that wouldn't explain why there would be rusting in the back corner. This was my very first splurge on a supposedly higher quality microwave. I am over 40yo and I have never once had a microwave start to RUST! Purchased 6/2021. Peeling and rust started late 2023 and progressively got worse. I'm going to buy a cheap $30 microwave from now on and just hope for the best.

Another LG purchase and very happy with any LG products. Great price and quality. This unit fits perfectly on our counter. Easy to use is plus.

It's compact, but powerful enough. Look beautiful too.

This product is beautiful and works well. I like the feature of having it ring a tune when the food is ready. This way you will not forget your food is in your microwave .

The LG Neochef is lovely. It takes up less space that my old one, yet is roomier inside. I love the controls and the sound. My old one made me crazy when it beeped. The sound on this one is delicate and yet I can hear it in the other room. And it sure is easy to clean. It's so trim and neat.

I wanted a counter-top, sleek look, easy to use microwave. I'm not a microwave connoisseur but this works for me. Defrost and quick settings are great. The dark outside panel is hard to see in the dark but have memorized and worth it for clean look I wanted.

This is a handsome microwave that fits in a very small space, but don't be fooled: this is a powerful microwave that cooks quickly and evenly! The only minor drawback is that you cannot increase time in less than 10 second increments, but it's a small price to pay. Great value for money spent!

I am pleased with my purchase. It fits nicely on my counter in the kitchen. It looks nice and I have gotten a lot of compliments from family about it. It heats up rather quickly and is easy enough to clean. I just so happen to like the musical sound that it makes when my food is done heating up. (:

This is a perfect size For my kitchen remodel. However, I miss the power of my larger microwave. This is a fair job but will take some adjustment getting used to less power. I like the ease of selecting the time to cook especially the fast 30 second button which you can hit multiple times.

Love this microwave. It looks great in my kitchen and it isn't too big or too small. I haven't used all its features yet but so far it is great. The food barely spends any time in there and it comes out super hot. By the way, love the super cute sound it makes when something is ready.

Looks good with our appliances. Easy to use! Works great!

Compact and elegant and power is above average. The only beef I have with it is the size can be selective of plates going in.

I have very limited counter space so I needed a compact microwave. This is the perfect size for small spaces. Plus it plays a great little tune instead of the standard beep.
