Bought to replace the same model which crapped out after about six years usage. Couldn't readily find another counter-top model, because it had to fit in a certain sized enclosure built in our kitchen cabinetry. Other models were too big. No complaints about the microwave though. Does what it's supposed to.

When i got married i bought this product for the apartment. This product is great, good quality, easy to use. I recommed this product.

This worked great for 4 months, the best microwave I have ever had. It was also different than others in a good way. Different, more user friendly controls and nicer sounds. It was also very easy to clean. However, after just 4 months of "normal" use (we prefer the stove to microwave cooking) the heating element sparked and caught fire. The fire went out once I stopped the cooking. I tried again and got the same result. 4 months is just plain bad for any appliance. The only thing that saved LG was how great their support/service was. Without even a photo of what happened, they refunded me for the full purchase price in less than 48 hours. I never was on hold more than 5 minutes. There was only one catch...I had to buy another LG microwave. This was the cheapest one, so we'll see how long the new one lasts. In general in my research, the inverter technology looks great and makes sense, but it's not ready for use in the home yet. Most microwaves with inverters have stories in reviews about fires like what happened to us. If I LG had not forced me to buy another LG, I would have bought a microwave without an inverter until the technology improves and is truly ready.
