it is perfect size for a small space. It is small but the power is great. It looks very slick and modern so it is good for the look as well as the quality.

Inverter microwaves are the cream of the crop IMO for microwaves. Instead of just turning on and off they actually decrease the power, so you can defrost things properly or heat up butter without it exploding. I do with the buttons were a bit easier to press on the outside and they probably didn't need to hide most of the operational buttons on the inside of the door, but it's a minor complaint really. Overall looks good and performs well.

It’s a perfect size for a small apartment and very convenient. also it’s very quiet and easy to use. Love the sound it has because it’s not your typical annoying beep, instead it’s very musical.

I love the quick buttons on the front of the microwave. The size and power make this a great option for those limited on counter space. Quiet operation with easy clean up for those accidental splats.

    Prowler proof microwave

Bought this to replace a cheap microwave that randomly developed an offensive odor after less than a year. I’m not a fan of microwave ovens since they really have a way of making anything you put in them, not quit as good as it would be had you put the extra effort in to use a different method. That said, there are times the microwave option is unavoidable. This cooks just as quickly as the ironically space consuming over the range style we originally got rid of, fits anything any normal person would want to microwave (a turkey or roast would be to large) and is coated for the times an inconsiderate prowler breaks and and explodes food in your microwave and doesn’t clean up his mess. I know this to be the case because every microwave we have owned has fallen victim to these prowlers and every time I clean it up and question my family members, I’m always assured they ALL cover up their food. If this happens, the coating makes wiping down the inside easy. So far, clean, odor free and gets the job done when you have exhausted all other options. I could do without all of the new appliances playing happy digital sounds but that’s just me. I prefer a beep or a buzz. I do like that if you don’t set the clock, the display will shut off, thus avoiding 5 clocks all a minute off. I would definitely recommend!

Great microwave to have, to me it's the perfect size- not too big and not too small. It's very easy to clean. It heats up food really fast. I love LG microwaves, especially the cute sound it makes when it's done.

I found it hard to use. The door is extra wide and covers most of the buttons. For example, you have to open the door to use the kitchen timer. The door itself has limited controls built in. There is a touch timer/start but it skips 90 seconds. There is also a slider, but it's very sensitive. Once you start touching any of these controls the oven starts up which makes it difficult to modify. Panel very dark, hard to see unless very well lit. Seems under powered for 1050 watts

If you want a small microwave with big features, this is it. We have a small space in our Airstream and this fills the need perfectly. It has the latest Inverter technology and the usual bells & whistles, but remains simple and easy to use. The large turntable is bigger than any other microwave we looked at. We're happy campers.

Heats up food quick and has music play once it’s done. But unable to turn off music. Design for heating up food is different, does not have the numbers to punch in, instead has a scroll touch screen.

I purchased one of these for my aunt who only had a small area for a microwave. Even though it's small it has high power and the lighting is very nice. All the touch features are on the closed door, so no need to open the door to add additional features. This is a very nice microwave if you have a small area. She has had this microwave for two years now and has not had any problems with it. I purchased one for myself last year.

This is a great compact countertop microwave. It has sleek modern design since the buttons are concealed behind the door. I wanted it for coffee bar/ snack area in my home so form factor was important to me. It works well and was reasonably priced. it plays a melody when food is done that I could do without, but not a big deal.

Looks great in my kitchen. The only downside is our counter lip comes up so we had to sit it on a wood board so that the door didnt hit the counter. the chime is cute and not annoying and nice that i can hear it from the garage and it has a reminder chime. it heats well and doesn't burn my food. love the buttons on the front. overall i'm happy with it

I bought this little powerhouse about a month ago and immediately fell in love with it. The size is perfect, it manages to heat my food without overheating the dish it’s in, and the song it plays when it’s done cooking is adorable! My one recommendation is to pay attention when using the “popcorn” button – I usually listen to the pops and when they are a few seconds apart I know the popcorn is ready. The button seems like it’ll keep going about 30 seconds longer than it needs to, but as long as you’re paying attention you won’t end up with burnt popcorn. Other than that, this microwave is fantastic, and I can’t recommend it enough!

I wouldn’t buy again. Unable to open with one hand as door closes so tightly. No numerical keypad to select digits, only +/- in 10 sec increments. Power level, presets behind the door so must be open to select. This gives the front a clean look but less user friendly to me. Sounds are musical and loud, can be turned off.

    Inverter technology cooks FAST.

This inverter microwave cooks things MUCH faster than the old unit we had - no more of that loud transformer hum in that inefficient 'on and off' cycling. This microwave cooks so much faster that you have to keep an eye on things, I've had water boil right out of the mug, so go for a lower heat level and less time, you know, experiment. The touch slider bar on the front took some getting used to but soon became second nature. I like the LED lights inside but with the inside painted grey it's kind of hard to see your food. My only problem with this - our microwave sits on an antique Hoosier cabinet metal countertop that has a raised lip at the front. When I first opened the door BANG - the door hit that lip. I scrambled to elevate it somehow just so we had the unit operable for us and in a pinch I cut a piece of half inch drywall to the oven's footprint and that's what it's still sitting on today. At least we can open the door all the way. I don't mind the little song it chimes - it matches our LG washer and dryer and they all sing together now. This microwave cost as much as two with conventional transformers but we really are glad we splurged so far.

We’ve been using it for 10 days and it’s a great compact microwave. It will fit a dinner plate. Easy to clean and the little sounds are MUCH better than the usual “phiii” when the food is ready. I JUST DONt recommend buying at Best Buy! They are not reliable. I’ve had many problems with delivery date with them.

Good Microwave, but Bad Control Panel

The microwave works very well. It's compact size doesn't take up a lot of counter space and it's fairly powerful for such a small unit. The big complaint here is the control panel. There are no numbers on it so you can't set it for a particular time to cook. You must either use the preset options which are not as intuitive as I would like or you use this slide option to increase or decrease the time after starting the microwave. It works, it 's just a little weird and not as easy as a microwave that you can hit the three button and have the oven cook for three minutes.

My second exact same LG microwave. The first one lasted somewhere between one and two years. I decided to give this model another chance since there were many features I liked in it. I like the little melody it plays when it is done. I have grown to hate the loud beeping that other microwaves make. And it will shut up when you open the door unlike others. I like the solid sound it makes when the door is closed and it doesn’t make that loud cheap metally sound others make. Obviously it microwaves fine. It looks nice and is a great small size. The only thing I wish it had was a white interior because it is too dark inside to see much when looking in the window.
