Works, but Kills WiFi

This is a good microwave oven - it looks nice, heats up food as well as a microwave can really be expected to, and is easy to clean. The downside, which is a big one, is that it leaks enough microwaves that it interferes with the router and disconnects my computer (kicking me off conference calls) every time someone uses it. It also interferes with the baby monitor so we can't use that either while microwaving food. Since I work from home, I'm going to have to exchange this microwave for a different one so I don't get booted from phone calls unexpectedly throughout the day. (I have a powerful gaming router and extremely fast internet, and the router is on a different level of the home, for what that all is worth - it's not like it's weak WiFi or I have the microwave between the router and the computer or anything.) The only other downside is that there's no number pad that allows you to type an exact cooking time, which is okay for most things but annoying when you know a 8oz baby bottle would take 45 seconds and you have to choose vetween 40 (slightly too cold) and 50 (too hot). While I mostly adjusted to not having the number pad, I will look for a number pad when replacing this microwave.

I love this unique modern microwave. There are NO numerical digits to press for cooking & heating up any food or hot driinks. Just simply press the '+' symbol to add 10 seconds increments. Mid-size 1000 watts. What I do like is not too big & enough watts to heat up food in less time and very easy to clean inside. Inside charcoal gray porcelain look. Turn table with modern very small powerful led light. Definitely brite white light. Plus when timer is done it has a musical chime reminder that is done. It will ring serveral times till you empty it. Stainless steel outside finish. So COOL! Great buy !!!

I was looking for a smaller microwave that didn’t then lack power. I found that microwave in this one. It is very nice! I like the sleek modern technical look of it. The ceramic finish inside with the LED light looks nice and will clean nicely when spills or boil over occurs. I love the song at the end of your time, so much better than the usual dings or buzzer. I also really like that the timer song and the song for when you use the microwave are different. Really really great microwave! I highly recommend it! Totally worth it’s price and with Best Buy’s price match and great service I received when I got it I would recommend purchasing it at Best Buy!

This is a great counter top microwave. It is modern, sleek, easy to use and has the coolest alert. It plays a little tune instead of just the normal boring beep of most microwaves. Not only does it look great but it works fantastic. I have never had a microwave pop every single kernel of popcorn but this one did it in less than 2 minutes. Big fluffy popcorn....better than any other microwave I've owned. I don't do much cooking in it but it does everything I need it to do. And you will love the cool design. Also great price. Thank you Best Buy!

Great Machine, A Few Odd Features, Love or Hate

Keeping this microwave, but it definitely has a few oddities that you may love or hate. On the plus side: love the dark interior that hopefully will not show stains; well-balanced turntable mechanism; overall look of the design, sturdiness of the door opening/closing, and how it cooks. On the negative side--stupid electro music that signals cooking complete is as annoying as a beep/buzzer, and yes it repeats over and over if you don't open the door or push the button to clear (Pet peeve--why do we need a huge alert for the END of cooking?? Not like anything is going to burn if we don't come right away...) Most microwaves no longer let you turn off the alert sounds and this one is no different in that regard. Other negatives--everything is touchpad, which seems great until it fails to read your touch due to....a million reasons. This one seems fairly responsive, but you definitely have to find just the right spot, which is not always clear, as it would be with a push button. Also dislike that you have to open the microwave door to do anything other than use the slide bar touch screen on the front (this feature allows you to quickly set cook time by moving your finger over the touch screen, without opening the door, but if you want to precisely set a time, or do most other tasks except Start/Stop, you have to open the door to access control pad). Last annoying thing is that the clock face is very bright, but the keypad/controls below it are not lit. So in anything other than bright daylight, you cannot actually see the keypad and controls because you are, essentially, blinded by the clock. Note to LG---make the keypad controls light up, too, or the design colors brighter. If you often use a microwave at night or early morning, when you don't have the room brightly lit, this feature will annoy the heck out of you. In summary, this microwave works very well, and reviews suggest it will last a long time, but the user features need to be tweaked. You'll love it or hate it.

I decided that I'd get rid of an older 'standard size' counter-top model, and replace it with something newer and smaller, thus gaining back some space. I checked out the online reviews, and specs, and pretty much knew immediately this was going to be a good choice . . . and was it ever!!
There are a few minor oddities to get past on the initial use, including something as simple as opening the oven door. Most microwaves (that don't have a button to press), have a slot/well to put your fingers in, and then push with the thumb in the opposite direction. That doesn't work here since both side of the 'finger well' are a part of the actual door. You simply just pull, with no opposite force needed. I worried this might cause the oven to shift a bit each time I opened it, but the weight was enough that it didn't happen at all. Not even a little bit.
The control are both external and internal to the main door, which was a first for me, but it works fine. Simply read the instruction on the process, and then it's easy.
This compact microwave has a higher overall power than the larger one it replaces. I've had success with cooking, warming, and re-heating. Adding time/power to any in-progress cooking is a snap.
The LG tune, to indicate your meal is ready, is a nice a fun touch.
I'm super pleased with my new appliance, and would easily re-purchase it with zero hesitation . . . as well as recommend it to family & friends. Thanks LG and Best Buy for confirming this was the perfect replacement for my kitchen cooking.

Sleek modern design. Simple easy to use controls. Inverter feature cooks foods consistently. I use the reheat feature a lot and cooking times are accurate. Small footprint yet big enough to cook most anything. My favourite microwave I have purchased.

This microwave is absolutely "the bomb!" Although I was used to having a microwave that had a digital key pad where you just punched in whatever time you wanted, there was a small learning curve to figure out that to set the time you just hit the right arrow to show the time you wanted. It is probably the smallest microwave I have ever owned, but since it sits son the countertop, that is really a plus; since I only use it to heat up
food. I would buy this same microwave again in an instant. My only problem is I just need to read the directions so I can set the clock. You will not go wrong with purchasing this specific microwave (now I just need to live long enough to get my money's worth from this purchase! lol

I’ve only had this for a few weeks, but so far it’s worked out well. For the size, it’s way more powerful than our old one and I like its modern look. It does play a little tune when it’s finished heating and makes more of a “ding” than a beep, but it’s kind of charming and unique. The only complaint I have is that it has no numbered buttons, just up and down, to set your cook time (or clock). All in all, I give it a thumbs up.

I have to admit that it takes some getting used too because there are no number buttons. I have had mine for about a month now and I love using it. I am not a heavy user of the microwave for cooking purposes, I use it for warming up stuff and cooking popcorn. I have not used it for defrost yet, but based on the performance so far I do not expect it to be disappointing.
The size is perfect for me because I have a small kitchen with limited counter space, so mine is sitting on a cart. It is not very heavy either!
I do have one gripe, there isn't a preset for warming up anything like bread. I will just have to use the power level button to do that. Also, like I said there are no numbers. You have a positive and negative strip where you can increase or decrease the time you want to use. It is in increments of 10, if you just use the plus or minus. In order to increase it more you can slide your finger across the span between the plus and minus. It takes some adjusting but it get easier after awhile. Honestly there are several nuances that make this microwave stand out, which can also be a nuisance to some. The look is original, especially since there are minimal buttons and they are located inside the door. I must also add that the popcorn button is not disappointing, fully popped and not burnt! The signal to let you know it is done, is a nice little tune instead of a loud noise!
It is a sleek looking appliance, that so far has not disappointed in its delivery. I am not disappointed with this purchase at all!

Our previous microwave gave up the ghost unexpectedly so we needed to pickup a new one. But the space for it is pretty tight, and there aren't many choices. Buying the same model was a last resort because it was ugly and underpowered. But I was happy to run across this one -- it fits perfectly in the space, looks really nice, and is 50% more powerful! Water boils faster, frozen food thaws quicker, and even the sounds it puts out are more pleasant. It's also easier to clean since it has fewer nooks and crannies where gross fish smells can hide. Very happy to have found this!

This small microwave will hold up to a full-size dinner plate perfectly. Evenly heats, easy-cleaning, easy to operate, fun musical end alarm that will repeat to remind you after about a minute. The small size should work great for limited space kitchens. I use it most for reheating meals, pre-packaged frozen meals, baked potatoes, microwave popcorn. I got it on sale for $99.99.

It is not easy finding a small microwave that also has enough power, but this one is perfect. I love that my food warms evenly with no cold or hot spots, I am even now willing to thaw frozen meat in the microwave because it isn't coming out partially cooked. no loud beeping or anything, very soft melody time alerts

We got this to replace a couple of slightly larger GE microwaves that kept failing on us. We realized that we're not really microwaving anything huge so we decided to go with the 0.9 cu ft LG this time and free up some counter space.
I actually like the noises is makes a little better than the standard chirps from most microwaves. I know some people have mentioned that they're annoying.
The control panel could use a light and takes a little bit of getting used to - you need to open the door to access it to do anything beyond the most basic functions - but it didn't take long to get used to and I'm realizing that 95% of everything I use a microwave for can be accessed with the door closed.
It fits all of our plates and bowls that we'd use for a microwave. It heats quickly and evenly and we've had zero issues with it so far.
It's nice to have the small form factor pushing out almost 1100 watts. And it was under a hundred bucks on sale for back to school. Can't beat it.

This heats things just as fast as my larger microwave. It also has a musical chime when it finishes cookibg which comes in handy. Smart compact design with sleek styling makes it far less obtrusive than the larger LG it replaced (which still works fine after about 12 years, I just needed smaller). I assume the high wattage for size is why it works so well. Fits regular dinner plates.

I've used this microwave on a daily basis for about three weeks. It was a replacement for a full size microwave. This one is smaller, yet more powerful and accommodated the size of my regular dinner plates and small casserole dishes, handy in my single person household. Easy to use, and I like the auto cook and auto reheat features. Happy with the result both in reheating, cooking, and defrosting to date. The manual was clearly written. The onlyy 'odd' thing I've noticed is that I have to actually unplug the unit to reset the clock if the power went out, etc. Not a major issue. This model does not allow you to set sequential cooking/power timings. For example, 3 minutes at 80%, then 2 minutes at 100%. But, for the price, size and other features, I can work around that.

This is far beyond my expectations. This microwave works really great! Heats up food fast, clean/sleek design, easy to clean! Plus, it doesn’t have that noisy sound! And it also has this cute sound when you’re done heating up your food. Very good size for small counter.

We love this microwave! It replaces a behemoth of a microwave that had all sorts of power but this one seems to heat things up just the same.
It has a nice compact footprint and is just big enough to fit one of our dinner plates. We’ve found that the inverter technology is as advertised, it reheats/defrosts evenly without cooking the edges. And it is quiet. We can barely hear it running.
Do we miss the numeric keypad? Not really. We found with our old microwave we mostly used the :30 second quick start function anyway, so there is not much difference with this one.
Another common complaint with this is the chimes it makes when it finishes cooking. We own a LG range which makes similar sounds when it preheats and when the timer completes, so I guess we were used to it. It’s definitely different than your standard beep, but it is not an unpleasant sound.
