It's a pleasant sound as opposed to the "beeps" of some machines. This is a bit more musical in a good way. Heats great... we've had it for a couple years now and still works great after heavy use every day. The little slider bar to set the time is awesome - easy to control your heat time to the second.

I bought it twice because the first one started arcing and smoking so I had to get rid of it before it burned my house down. BUT I did like the microwave, so I went back to Best Buy and purchased it again on 1/20/19 and once again, this microwave starting arcing and smoking every time I used it. Not sure what the problem is, but I will never buy this again.

With a normal Microwave it would take minutes to warm up food. This can do it in a minute. Advanced heating technology. Well worth the price.
