This LG Microwave is the best microwave oven I have ever owned and I have had about 6 or 7over the last 30 years. First off it is very easy to learn and operate the controls. It is real nice looking and way easier to clean inside and out than any other microwave I have owned or used. There is no button to open the door, you just easily pull it open . The inside is a dark charcoal color instead of the common white. It has a good working cleaning mode that makes it effortless to clean baked on food. My favorite of the many great features is the hexagonal-shaped stabilizer ring that supports the turntable with 6 wheels for the turntable to rest upon instead of just 3. The added support means you can place even tall or heavy items anywhere you like without fear of them tipping over. And it makes a pleasant sound when cooking is done instead of the annoying beep. The best thing about this microwave is that it cooks everything to perfection the way it was intended to. This is now the 4th LG appliance we have purchased in the last 6 years and every one of them is now our favorite.

This microwave is very nice. It’s roomy and heats food fast and thoroughly. The LED lights are great and it is very quiet. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 Stars is because you can only set the timer in increments of 10 seconds. There isn’t a 1 - 10 keypad, just + and - buttons. If there is a way to set very specific times, I haven’t read about it in the manual or figured it out. But, all-in-all this is a very good microwave oven.

This Neochef does everything I need. Small but powerful with all the features and a great look on the counter.

Bought 01/2023 , quiet , has more power than our old one , size is as it should be , easy to use after you get used to it , plays nice music instead of beeping , easy to clean , everyone at home likes it , would recommend

Awesome choice!!! So much better than what I planned to buy. I was concerned because there aren't any buttons. Don't be afraid. It actually makes it much easier to use and operate. I saw the store display, it made so much sense. When you open the door, there's a guide to common foods inside the door. Defrost, programmable powers, froz veggies, fresh veggies, popcorn, beverages, etc. Everything you need at your fingertips, but hidden away. They should really include a pic of the inside - it's everything. We've had it for about a month now and we love it. It looks incredible. It cooks/reheats evenly. There's no handle, the edges/corners give way for pulling open. It plays lil melodies, chiming instead of a buzzer. The numbers disappear when not in use. Even though the inside is gray, the light is strong and you can see what's in there while it rotates. The inside is actually bigger than one we replaced, but the footprint is near the same. Very efficient. Very sleek & modern. 1200 watts. Sensor cook or you can enter minutes/seconds. Highly recommend. It's rated high for a reason! No cons that I can see. Great microwave.

It works well. I have two minor complaints that are more specific to my preferences than general cons. The BEST way to operate a microwave is to enter a number via keypad and press start. This microwave, like most, has some bizarre method of time input that really is a pain. Two minutes? Hit the start button 4 times. 8 minutes? Stroke the front of the door over and over again. Why do these guys need to try to be innovative? Next up, is the door latch. The handle on the edge of the door is U-shaped, and completely covers the body of the microwave. So, you can't use your thumb or knuckles to pry the door open. In fact, trying to open the door with one hand will cause the microwave to move.... if it sits on a smooth surface. You may want to put it on a rubber mat or something. I find most of the fancy "sensor" settings to be useless, but I certainly expected that. It's a good, strong microwave and a decent size. It looks nice. It tries to be too cute so it only gets 4 stars.

We bought this because the one we had only 5 months started blowing the fuses in our house, and then stopped heating during cycles. The one we had before that one rusted out after two years. So I didn't have confidence on what to get next. I looked at this one because my daughter has it, and she loves it, and it has lasted her over two years with absolutely no issues. I've only owned it a week, but so far it's been wonderful. It has not blown the fuses in our home, and when it starts, it's very quiet. Closing the door is much quieter than previous ones I've owned as well. The internal light is very bright, and the musical chime when it's finished cooking is much more pleasant than the normal beeping. One reason I didn't look at this one sooner is the absence of a number pad, but I have to say I haven't missed it yet. The slide bar is easy to use, and setting the time is easy if you take just a few minutes to learn, it's not rocket science. We love the sleek look too. I will come back and update if anything changes, but so far this microwave is great. On top of that, the price dropped after I bought it, so I went back in to see if I could price match, and Best Buy did it without hesitation.

When our old microwave bit the dust, we purchased this after reading reviews, plus it was on sale at the time. We like the sleek, streamlined look. The 1.5 Cu. Ft. size is good for us because it doesn’t take up a huge amount of counter space but most of our baking dishes will fit inside. Right away we noticed this defrosts frozen food more evenly than in our old microwave. Also, the unique design of the turntable is more stable than the old one. Having a touchscreen makes it easier to clean than grimy buttons. The interior is also very easy to clean and seems to repel splatters, just a few quick wipes is all it takes. All in all, this has very nice features without being over the top.

The look is sleek and futuristic -- the control panel has been moved inside the door. There are many pre-set timers for cooking, reheating, defrosting, etc. Sensor heating first displays the word "Sensor" but part-way through, changes to a timed countdown display. This is handy for when you want to cook the food (e.g., bacon) less than the full amount. The Start button increases by 30-second increments, instead of the 1-minute ones on my last oven. When the food is done, the oven plays a short tune. If you don't remove the food within 1 minute, it gives you a reminder tone. I like the gray interior and having more points that balance the turntable. It was very easy to clean using only water. Its size fit in the space I had available. The only negative I have to report is that the power cord is rather short if you want to plug it into a low wall outlet rather than one above the counter. It was on sale, too! No hesitation at all about recommending this microwave.

Love this microwave! It looks so amazing and fits perfect! Excellent size and design. I love a sensitive cooking function, it does just exactly what i need!!!! It cooks very quick! I also love all melodies this microwave plays, and touch screen works so great! Lg just made one more amazing appliance, not a surprise ;) !

I have only had this unit for a few months but really like it. We had a power surge that wiped out the previous unit as well as a number of other electrical appliances. After a lot of research for units this size we settled on this. I usually read the one and two star reviews on all the units so it seems they all have potential problems. No problems here. I don't mind the musical ding. I really like just tapping the front door to bring up time for quick heating. Thaw and popcorn work perfectly. Not being able to use the timer while something is being heated is a slight drawback but who doesn't have a smart phone with a timer these says. I like this much more than the previous GE unit

Beautiful and stylish microwave- compact, but with a good size interior and high power. The only dislike I have is that there is no traditional keypad for cook time input, and cook times can only be increased in 10 second increments. Otherwise, I am very pleased and can highly recommend.

We moved house and the new house had an ancient microwave - still working at 25 years old based on the plate on the rear which is impressive. The new one is quieter and a lot more powerful with a smaller footprint - very happy so far - the pop corn setting works great - very happy so far

Big microwave lots of features but also simple not over complicated and works extremely well

The microwave is really nice and has easy controls. It is not difficult to use at all and it has a very sleek look. At the end of the time, you set there is a small song that plays which is also very cute. The microwave works perfectly fine and heats up food very nicely.

I like this microwave, it functions well, is easy to use and has a nice clean look. It's replacing a traditional microwave that lasted many years but needed replacing. I was somewhat concerned about having most of the controls only accessible when the door is open but have found that not to be an issue. I've only had this microwave for a few months so I can't speak to long term reliability but thus far I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful piece of equipment. Looks really nice, inside and out. Nice amount of power, easy to clean. Love the fact that you can program with the door closed. Can also add time while cooking. Loved this purchase and so will you!

Really strong for a smaller microwave. We had a huge over the stove microwave and this one heats up way faster. Burnt a few things at first. It is sleek but with that comes no keypad. You have to press a 10 second button until you get to the time you want. Or, there is a sliding timer that is hard to control. You cannot type in 1:45 then start. Other than that, very good microwave.

A great idea. See no pad full of 30 buttons and features you probably never use? That why I like the minimalism of this unit. (Don't worry all those buttons and functions are hidden behind the door if you need them). With just a swipe of the finger on the front of the unit you can add time to your microwave timer. Clean lines. Really good looking unit. So easy to clean. I just remodeled my kitchen and this microwave looks right at home. Heats evenly and has power. Plays a fun little tune when your food is ready. And will remind you with a tune every 30 seconds until you remove the food. (No more forgotten side dishes!)

this is a great microwave. It's super easy to clean, the power is great, it heats food quickly. I like the design, with some options hidden inside the front panel and the start and stop on the outside. I also enjoy the end chime.
