Definitely an upgrade! Great size and heats well. Has a popcorn setting that is PERFECT!

I didn’t realize until I purchase as microwave just how big it is. The build is pretty good. The functions are very simple as far as the durability. I’m not sure I would recommend it because I already had to return it within a year of purchasing it, but luckily had a warranty, so I was able to get a new one.

This replaces a similar LG microwave which failed after nearly 9 years of use. The large size/capacity is a huge plus as are the multiple programmed choices. It is easy to clean and heats/cooks items as expected.

This new Microwave is really fantastic. it is spacious and is very quiet. Love it!

The microwave is really big and spacious. It heats everything up in 2 minutes which would take longer on smaller microwaves.

Our Kenmore Elite countertop microwave gave out after only 4 years! We were disappointed because it had been so good to us. New Kenmore Elite models lacked good ratings so the hunt for its replacement began. After many hours of comparison shopping I found this LG 2.0 at Best Buy with good customer reviews. We never owned any LG products before and decided to give this unit a try. After 2 months we are happy with our decision. The LED light is great as well as the popcorn feature. My favorite part is the musical chime that plays when the cycle is done. It is a refreshing change from other units in the past. The only down side is the frozen entree choice takes longer than the package directions say it should to cook the meal. Overall, a solid choice for the money!

This LG - 2.0 Cu. Ft. Family-Size Microwave replaced a microwave that I'd had for at least ten years; I wanted to upgrade and get something slightly larger - this more than fits the bill. The unit is big enough to fit a whole chicken (possibly a small turkey) - that should give some idea of the inner dimensions. It has a good amount of "quick" options (Sensor Cook/Reheat, Defrost, etc.), and seems to heat things through quickly and easily. The unit itself is very sleek-looking - I quite like the black, and it fits well with my other kitchen appliances. I know there are people who complain about the musical tones that sound intermittently; I'd much rather that than the beeps that other microwaves have. All in all, I'm very happy with this microwave, and would recommend it for families.

Excellent size...even larger insulated mugs fit easily. Sensor cooking is good. Quieter than older models.

Got it home and plugged it in. Would not start. Looked online to some Indian youtube, of all things, that said to slam the door 4 or 5 times. I did that and it started up. So far it is doing great. Hard not to shut the door without feeling like you are slamming it, but I guess that is normal. I was a bit anxious for a while that it would keep working, but fingers crossed, no issues. The touch controls have to be touched just right to accept the touch but you get used to it. Love the chimes when it is done, and the different reminder chimes. I'm pretty sure this will be better than the GE it replaced, which only lasted a few years before the magneto failed (I think). Super powerful. You might have to dial back your times a bit.

Good performance and simple controls. Decent price. Only flaw is the button to open the door...could be better designed.

We are very happy with the quality and size of this microwave and notice that it heats much more evenly than our old one. My main grief is with the touch controls which are very hard to engage making me wish that they were actual buttons which would have been much easier to operate. You need to use so much force and precision tapping to turn on this microwave that the tip of my finger is sore. I usually only use the one-touch 30 second heat feature and will tap it multiple times to get the desired heating time (3 taps= 90 seconds = sore finger)! I can only recommend based upon quality of material and size.

This is a state of the art updated microwave. It heats the food quickly and gets the job down. It also looks sleek when doing so. No issues with it at all.

The microwave has a very modern, smooth and clean stainless steel look that goes great with most modern kitchen designs. The door seems very solid when it opens and closes. The chime at the end of cooking is a nice surprise versus the old beep, beep, beep. Overall this is a very nice microwave.
