Love this unit. Does a great job, is quiet and vwry handy for delicates and small loads. Also the price was great when you factor in the cost of the pedestal you dont need to buy

The little brother to the new Wash/Dryer Combo

First there is Siri and Alexa, then we get chatgpt4 with google AI with Baird and Microsoft copilot. Now LG Electronics comes out with an AI enabled combo washer and dryer. Yes, washer and dryer with a heat pump to eliminate the dryer vent.
I wasn’t able to get into the manual before my wife had it connect to the LG app on her iPhone and changing the settings and starting a wash.
I read that on larger loads it does take a little longer to dry than a traditional dryer and they are right. But my wife runs it when she goes to work and it’s done when I come home.
I have been around a lot of innovation projects at some large companies and LG has really pushed the envelope on this unit.
It senses your loads and identifies how dirty the clothes are and then takes care of the rest with the AI Wash and Dry setting. If you don’t trust the AI to take over your washing duties yet, then select from 15 other wash cycles. We decided to let it take over the duties.
From the auto detergent and softener dispenser to the ventless design and top lint collector, they have simplified the laundry process for me and my family.
Not to forget the little brother unit (underneath) that I also picked up. The #LGSideKickPedestalWasher. My wife and girls like it for washing smaller loads and their undergarments that need a little more TLC or just need to be air dried.
As my wife said, Life is Good

Super convenient to optimize laundry day! I bought in combination with the LG washer/dryer all in one to use in addition to my existing washer and dryer. This allows an additional small load to be done and hung after. You can also do a handwash only cycle. The app is super easy to use and lets you know when it's time to remove.

Absolutely love this appliance! It is simply a small washing machine that comes in handy for a small load or to wash a quick color load you’ve separated from main load.
I highly recommend this washer!

Love this! It makes so much sense. I need the pedestals for height, but the pedestal under the dryer is sufficient for my storage needs. The sidekick makes my laundry so much more efficient. It's great for hand wash, delicates, things that don't go in the dryer, more precise color sorting, and isolating things like muddy clothes, tennis shoes, etc.

I never knew I would need this small washer. My washer and dryer both had issues, after 15 years of perfect washings they decided to break down at the same time. Time for a new set, we purchased the LG washer, Sidekickand & dryer. I was intrigued by the Sidekick and thought why not, just get it. I am happy I did, it's great for a small load and it's quick to wash, plus it is quiet, and efficient. Happy to have it!

I like having options, but I find I don’t use it very often. I like the easy of use and easily do more loads that are wool, or towels. My only concern is I do hear water sitting in the bottom. When I haven’t used it for a month the water sound isn’t there. So I know it takes time to evaporate (Smell over time?!).

My first pedestal washer. I wasn’t sure how useful it would be but I use it almost as much as the main washer - we tend to do a lot of smaller loads. Works well.

We have a large family and actually need something like this. It works as advertised, it’s primarily for Delicates and things like that, the one draw back Is the owner manual says not to use bleach but we have enough whites we’re really not using it for that. It works great for the kids baseball uniforms or my daughter’s volleyball uniform or just sweaters and things like that. Between this and the full-size EZ- dispense washing machine we are saving $30 a month in detergent and softener, I’m sure we lowered our electric bill, the clothes are cleaner with a lot less drying time.

Except for the fact that the salesman didn’t mention that we needed to have 2 outlets to be able to run this with the matching front load washer, which we quickly remedied by hiring an electrician, this was a great purchase!! Love being able to run 2 loads at a time, does a great job!

I must say I’m over satisfied with this purchase. It’s very neat under the appliance, allows great range to load and unload. The price is not what’s important it’s the satisfaction you get from having this product.

Again, wife loves this addition to our washer and dryer set. Great for those little jobs, when you don't have enough for a full load and you don't want to waste all that water. Only drawback might be that our luandry room was not electrically set up for 2 washers, but that was an easy fix.

Handy extra storage for smaller items such as extra dryer sheets, stain removers, laundry detergent strips, dryer balls, etc. My last set of front load washer/dryer was on the floor instead of pedestals. It was difficult to get to the clothes in the back of the unit. I will go with pedestals from now on. It is much easier to the clothes out or the washer and dryer without straining your back.
