The middle drawer is the best! It keeps my cold cuts, cheeses, and butter organized. (It can be converted to a freezer if you choose.) The slim ice maker doesn't occupy all the space in the refrigerator. It is slightly larger than my previous refrigerator, but it seems so much roomier.

Got this because 18yr old Kitchenaid stopped cooling. Hopefully this will last as long. It looks great and so far it is working well one month in. LG reliability has an edge on Samsung so I got this and the extended warranty offered by BBuy to cover my for years. Lots of reviews with French door fridges dying just after the manf warranty. Can't get that at the big box stores or elsewhere.
Initially, I thought there was a temp control issue but I found the back of the fridge and doors shelves were at the right temp. Found there is a 7deg gradient from back to front of shelf after I bought 4 thermometers to survey the fridge.
Lot of room in the fridge to store items, but still trying to figure out best placement of everything. My old side-by-side did make it easier to organize with multiple shelves especially for the freezer. Hard to organized with just two buckets and a slider.

I like this fridge, it's wide and can hold a lot of things.
I like the self-selection function in the middle the most. It allows me to store food that I will eat in the next few days, and it is not easy to spoil.

We purchased this refrigerator a little over month ago to upgrade our older (but still working) side by side. Even though I accidentally ordered the wrong style , I think I like this one better. The only thing I would change is adding a shelf that recesses back to accommodate a large pitcher but in reality, you lose 1/2 of your shelf space that way so it’s not a big deal. There is plenty of room for all of our items and the full convert drawer is great for when you need more fridge space or freezer space. The water dispenser is larger so it can accommodate large cups which we frequently have. The door ice maker does not make a lot of ice but that’s ok because the one in the freezer compartment more than makes up for it. I searched for months for the right one so hopefully this one lasts as long as our old one!

Its very spacious and closes softly which is very nice. I love the extra flexible drawer that can be used either as a freezer or beverage cooler etc. The only issue we have is the ice dispenser on the door has to be pushed hard. Its just not as easy as my last one. But it may be that we just need to get used to it for a longer period of time.

I reluctantly replaced my 18 year old first-gen French door Maytag fridge with this model and I'm a bit sad about it. I do love the no-fingerprint finish on this model, and I'm getting used to the bonus flex/deli drawer, but I have a few gripes about this one. First - the selection button for the in door water/ice dispenser was designed by a moron. There are 3 icons, each with a little green light. Why on earth would you design it so you only press the middle icon to choose whether you want water, ice cubes, or crushed ice? Basic intuition tells you to press the individual icon for the desired item, but no, you have to stupidly toggle through all 3 using the center icon/button to change if you want water/cubes/crushed ice. And the toggle of the selection is S-L-O-W. This is a DUMB design. Clearly whomever designed the in door water/ice dispenser has never had to fill a family's worth of water bottles to get out the door for sports practice, or even fill four glasses of ice water to set the table for dinner without taking a ridiculous amount of time. This isn't rocket science. Also, the water dispensed from the door IS NOT COLD OR EVEN CHILLED. Another dumb feature. One would expect it to be cold coming out of a refrigerator. Very disappointing. I would return it for these nuisances if I wasn't worried about my front door jamb paint getting scratched again from having it moved to do an exchange.
The freezer compartment is ok but the lack of handle for the front edge of the top slide out freezer bin is another example of poor design. You just have to grab the thin plastic front edge and pull. It's a matter of time until this piece cracks or breaks without having a proper handle or pull.
One more thought - I love the idea of having more fridge space overall; however, the back of the shelves in this fridge is where leftovers go to die. There is little shelf adjustability for reaching to the very back to pull things forward. My old Maytag had a genius crank to lower/lift fully loaded shelves to accommodate tall items or reach items in the back. I wish appliance makers would utilize this feature instead of the lousy 2 or 3 shelf position option which require unloading the shelf to adjust.
And lastly, LG needs to decide one or the other on the ice maker. I'd rather have decent ice capacity in the door with the automatic dispenser than have to bend over and pull out the flimsy drawer and scoop ice to fill bottles. It's a waste of freezer drawer space. Just take a little more room up top and make it work quickly and with an intuitive selection switch. If you're not the type to be annoyed at little things like these, then this fridge will probably work just fine for you. It looks great in the kitchen. For the price though, I wish it were better designed.

This is a wonderful appliance. Lots of room, shelving, and light to see all the way to the back wall. Also, good temp control, and lots of designated space for condiments and the like. We especially like the ice dispenser and the ice bin located in the upper drawer of the freezer, also appropriately capacious, because when there are more people needing ice, the bin solves the problem. The veggie/lettuce drawers are roomy and deep, and the middle drawer is perfect for cheeses, snacks, nuts and other items used in cooking. I don't know why it can't do my laundry!!

This fridge is enormous and we love it! Compartments are large and we enjoy having the multi functionality of the center shelf which can change for fridge or freezer. The filters are easy to change which is great.

This is a really good fridge. Good points; Lots of storage, middle drawer is awesome, variable temp allows for different storage, 2 ice machines!! Ice is very fast. and its a very quiet fridge. App works great! Cons; Not enough adjustments for shelves in fridge, outside pull out drawers are not the smoothest.

This refrigerator is excellent so far! Temperature is very steady in all 3 compartments, plenty of space available, and good features overall.
Mechanically, the refrigerator works well. The ice makers and water dispenser work well, doors open and close securely (french doors have a slow close feature), alarm dings if you leave doors open, and the app works very well for monitoring. We only have two people in the household, and we're averaging just under 1.5 kWh per day.
Cosmetically, the stainless steel looks great! It does get some water spots and fingerprints, but it's not a fingerprint magnet. Easy enough to wipe. The glass shelves inside are easy to clean and the lighting is well-done, more than enough to see everything clearly in all compartments. Definitely a nice addition to our kitchen, and better-looking than our previous Kitchenaide as far as a more modern and sleek look.
Technology-wise, the connected app is great. You get reminders on filters, can monitor daily power usage and door usage, etc. The compressor is very quiet; not silent, but even with our open concept kitchen/living room area it does not disturb tv viewing at all. The full-convert drawer is more useful than I thought it would be at first. I set mine to freezer so I can keep frozen fruit/smoothie stuff that I use daily, and minimize opening the larger freezer. Anything you access daily or several times a day can be put in there, and minimize having to cool down the larger compartments.
Great product from LG so far; I'm a big fan of their washer/dryer and so already was familiar with their app. When it was time to replace my old refrigerator, LG was at the top of my list. Very happy with my purchase so far!

Excellent high capacity fridge, nice looking as well, quiet.
draw back is not so much eliminated back everything on the back of the shelves little dark. Also there is no soft close features on the middle shelve and freezer
