Love this player. Great picture on my new TV and very easy to setup in minutes

This a great 4K player. If you have a 4K TV or monitor then what you see will be fantastic. It also makes watching non 4K media so much better. Pros.. Picture quality (HDMI) Cons.. Not very user friendly and slow operation. It will also hijack the TV's signal making it difficult to operate other inputs.

My internet connection is slow AF, so I’m not getting fully stoked Ultra 4K HDR video savagery off of Netflix or DisPlus so I need my discs to show the uncompromising splendor. This thing does the trick, but make sure you check the video setting and turn off all that motion enhancement trash unless you want to watch Thor Ragnarok in BBC Soap Opera mode.

My son was in a marching band competition last year that offered DVD's for purchase of the entire competition. However, they could only be played on certain DVD players so I had to find one that would work. This is a great DVD player! Not only does it play that particular DVD but it also has Wi-Fi & I can log into my YouTube account to watch other videos from there! Love this!

Well it must be the technology as it's happened with two different brands. It takes forever for a movie to load up. It takes forever for the menu screen to pop up as well. The movies look great and the upconverting all to 4k is nice.

Got the product as open box item. Didn't have owners manual but was easy to set up and use even without manual. Works as expected

We've watched a few Blu ray movies on this. Works great, no issues. Picture quality is great, expected with a BluRay. This has a lot more features available like connecting to Netflix and other apps that we don't use mainly because our TV does the same thing. I know I was told this one was better than the other model we looked at, but I really can't remember why. I am satisfied with it.

Seamless with the LG TV, it offers so much for the money. I realize many are seeing the DVD player as old tech and everyone seems to be banking on steaming everything from online but I still feel for the best overall performance and experience, without outside influences, the DVD player gives you the best picture and sound of all choices out there.

Blu Ray and 4K players are a crowded field. It is worth your while to do your research , and you will see LG as one of the highest rated. We also own other LG products which have proven their reliability. Very good picture and resolution with this player. Also love the up - conversion on SD and lower resolution sources.

Great Ultra bluray player for cheap. Simple and intuitive

This player is far superior to the Samsung player it replaces. The remiote is easy to use, and the unit seems solit. The only issue is: when I turn on my home theater receiver, regardless of selected input, this thing insists I want it instead. It turns on and switches the receover to itself. It sometimes takes several tries to get it to shut off.

I believe this to be a good unit and its compatibility with my LG OLED is great. I bought this unit significantly below list price. If I had to pay list price I would have purchased something else which is reflected in the value rating. The picture is great and the sound is excellent.
