I had a 4K Player that supported HDR but not Dolby Vision. Since I have an LG OLED TV that does support Dolby Vision and some 4K Blu-Ray's that are encoded with DV, I wanted to get a new one that supported that. There are, of course, a number of $500+ Players that support it and I had my eye on a few of those, but ultimately decided that this since this LG Player had everything I wanted, it didn't seem like I'd be getting any benefits from the $300 or more extra it would cost to get one of those more expensive players. I'm glad I made the choice I did. This player does do everything I need. Both HDR and Dolby Vision look amazing from it - it has no problem syncing and playing through my receiver and supports Dolby Atmos as well. This was definitely the right player for me and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great 4K HDR player that is affordable.

It was easy to set up. Picture quality was excellent. Have the main entertainment I use which is Netflix and YouTube. It’s quiet when it opens and closes when putting in a dvd. No issues. Just remember to also purchase an hdmi cable.

I purchased this because I wanted to be able to use Dolby Vision and it does exactly that. I had been waiting on buying a 4k blu ray player with Dolby Vision until the kinks were worked out and there was a quiet one. This one is incredibly quiet and I am quite pleased.

Purchase this 4K player because I have decided to upgrade from Blu-ray.. shows a 4K movie it looked better than Blu-ray.. but it needs more apps to use like Hulu Amazon prime things of that nature

Not happy with my Samsung 4K player and since this player is on sale I decided to get it. I am happy to report that the LG is an excellent 4K Blu-Ray player Beautiful picture quality, fast loading, quiet and easy to operate. Love the remote control with all the buttons on it. I am glad that this player didn't have the so called smart remote. The settings menu is a little spartan, it need more options. LG also need to add the Auto options in the Display mode instead of forcing customer to use either 24Hz or 60Hz Have only 2 internet apps which is no big deal to me since i prefer to use the TV apps instead Didn't have any problems playing any 4K Ultra HD discs. Highly recommend this LG 4K player

Works great. Looks and sounds good on my 1080P TV. Bought the 4K for future improvement to overall entertainment system. I don't really use the Smart features as I have a Fire TV box as well.

Movies look great and easy plug in, price was higher than i wanted to pay but i wanted the LG brand and this what was in the store.

Great video quality. The sound quality is awesome theu the avr with the ootions with dolby atmos. Its quite while the movies are going. Does have the options for netflix n youtube streaming.

I got a great deal on this player as it came with 3 4k DVD’s and for $179 it was a steal... it’s easy to set up and the remote is easy To use. Picture is great. I would recommend it.

Dolby Vision will work with this player if your TV has Dolby Vision. It seems to make the picture better. The movie your using needs to have Dolby Vision too. It will say right on your TV screen if Dolby Vision is active. A great 4K player.

Simple menus and a great price. Performs well with 4k blu-ray discs. Dolby vision support has worked for all the discs I have played on this so far. Excellent value for the price range.

Very straight forward setup and operation. I thought I would miss the display but found that I got use to not seeing that information in about 5sec after the movie started. But sure to get the appropriate cables. Excellent picture

This player allows you to stream via wifi and has great picture and sound. You should pick this player up. 4k is the new standard and this player does it well.

Good player. Loads discs quickly. It also will automatically select Dolby Vision when available, unlike some other players. Lacks a lot of apps, if that's important to you.

This is an excellent 4K Blu Ray player. It also does a great job upconverting my regular blu ray and dvd discs. I bought this mainly for the Dolby Vision component which is very impressive for any 4K discs with Dolby Visin feature.

Must have if you have a 4K tv makes the pitcher sharper and the colors richer and brighter and every thing stand out easy to use just like a blu ray player

I bought this to go with my new tv after having the same tv and bluray player for close to 10 years. The picture quality of a 4K is incredible. Setting this player up was super simple.

This is my seconded LG 4k Blue Ray Player Comes loaded for bear ! Dolby Vision HDR HDR 10 Lack of apps is no big deal as my TV has them all as well as my media player. Got it at a Great Price was well as a free Logitech remote.

Upgraded to a new 4K Sony TV within last year and when the Geek Squad installed our TV he said we should consider replacing our Blu Ray player with a 4K player. After getting this 4K player we were amazed at the difference.

This is a very good 4K player. I bought this replaced by Sony. Been happy with it so far. I like the auto. Dolby visionI would recommend this player to anybody.
