It’s a decent little player. It does what I need it to do. Great price, solid machine. Works with my sound bar and TV easily.

It’s just the right size, plays DVD’s, CD’s, and BlueRay. The remote control is practical. Finally, it’s easy to install.

I grew tired of the competitor's product so I'm giving the LG player a chance. It worked great right out of the box and very simple to set up. So far I've been very pleased with my purchase. Streaming is evil, stick to the disk. :)

Excellent picture but remote is small and buttons very close together

The LG = Streaming Audio Blu-ray Player - Black was an economical purchase for me. I have played a number of DVDs and it has performed flawlessly. My only complaint is that there isn't a counter so I can tell where I am on the DVD. My older DVD/Video player had a counter for both the DVD and the Video.

We wanted a Blu Ray player for a few movies our toddler was given, so we did not want to spend a lot of money on it. We bought this, and it ended up being fabulous and really good quality. We use it for both our Blu Rays and DVDs now, and sold our old DVD only player. We've had no problems with it, but quite frankly, for the price we paid, if it only lasted 2-3 years and broke, and we had to buy a new one, we wouldn't complain. In fact, we'd buy it all over again.

I found out by mistake that this actually plays the closed caption on the disks that aren't formatted with English subtitles. I have a hearing loss and need to watch my shows with the caption. When the new DVD or Blu-ray players came out that were thru hdmi hookup evidently prior to 2010 the caption was analog and would not translate to digital (I read that somewhere). All the shows I watched on CBS had closed captioning prior to 2010 but not formatted with subtitles. It's nice to be able to watch my DVDs without headphones! I have a smart TV so I haven't hooked up the internet or any of the apps on this DVD player I just use it for DVDs or blu ray discs.

I bought this for my parents to use as their primary Blu-ray device, and 7 months later, hey couldn’t be happier. They are as “un-tech savvy” as you can get, but they are able to easily use this. They watch a lot of films, so it’s eorled well for them. If you’re just looking for a simple player without a ton of bells and whistles, this unit will do the job perfectly.

Great player for the price plays dvds and blue ray discs and the player is small and easy to install and set up I love it

This is a fine Bluray player for what I needed it for. I don't need streaming options, I just wanted a cheap player. This does fine.

This Blue-ray/DVD player is the best I have gotten in years. The remote works for the DVD player and great with my LG 55inch LED TV and easy to understand out of the box. If I need another player I will get another LG just like this blue-ray player again.
