Worst refrigerator I’ve had in my entire life. Good looking but not enough space.
1) not enough space for bottles ( you can’t fit an opened wine bottle half cork) on the door or inside ( even adjusting the shelves heigth). There is an inconvenient shelf that folds inn but bottle will be on the way of everything.
2) ice maker, if don’t use ice for 3-4 days, ice will stick on the walls and spinner will keep spinning like there is no ice.
Looks like is made for people than eats outside/take out all week.
For the money we pay, not good enough at all, I wish I can return it and get my old one back

Not big enough for a large family

I have owned this refrigerator for almost 3 years coming in April of 2024. What i like about this refrigerator its really nice and convenient but I notice that this refrigerator doesn’t have too much room to store bulk items. I have large family and have bulky items that dont fit. What i dont like is the bulk ice in the freezer…it makes do much noise. One our first night of having the refrigerator, I thought someone was robbing us in the kitchen.. It was the ice breaking apart. Its the only thing that’s very annoying

We purchased in April 2021 under two year manufacturer warranty plus we extended that through GeekSquad by another year. In that time, we have had to have the spherical ice maker (located in bottom freezer drawer) repaired twice due to the really loud knocking sound it will make when making the ice cubes. Apparently, this is now a known problem with this model. It's happening again now so I just had to schedule a $125 Geek Squad service call with another $140 in labor likely due when they come out plus price of parts. It's now outside of warranty. So I would not recommend this model. Further, the feature where you can tap the left side to turn on the light to see what's inside...we never use it! You generally know what you keep on the door (milk, jelly, butter, etc.) so this is a just a bell/whistle totally not worth the cost

Craft ice make AND LG customer service is horrible

Let's start with a $4500 fridge that has its craft ice maker fail in the first year. Now onto the real experience! LG customer service is ridiculous, the worst part of all this! I am a very fast typer, highly technical/savvy IT guy, they make you run back and forth to the fridge for diagnostics, take photos, run timed tests on how fast/how many ounces of water are filled per second. If you're not back and have some sort of response in 1-2 minutes, they disconnect the chat, and you start over! Imagine most people who are not fast walkers/typers/technical. So bestbuy, and customers, drop LG or make sure you let them know they are the worse in being customer friendly, why would anyone want to go through the BS!
