Bought this as a floor model with a couple of small dents or otherwise couldn't afford this high-end type of refrigerator. Although it is smaller in rated capacity than the one it replaced, it uses the space much better and we get everything we need in the freezer and refrigerator. The door-in-door feature is terrific, and the bright interior and eye-level shelving for the refrigerator is extremely convenient.

The refrigerator has plenty of room for what we need. The easy access door for beverages is very handy. We use it all the time. Good, intuitive controls.
We only have a few complaints about it:
1. Don't even bother with the Smart Refrigerator app. I just doesn't work. Even after searching online for help on setting it up, all we find are complaints about how it just doesn't work.
2. The stainless steel finish is terrible to keep clean
3. The water dispenser drips a little after using it, which leads to water spots (so see the previous item)
4. You have to open both doors to get at the deli drawer. Don't understand why they didn't split this drawer in two so we could pull open just the side of the drawer on the open door side.

Counter depth worked well in the limited space provided. Love the energy saving door so I can grab a drink without opening the whole fridge.

I researched countless sets of kitchen appliances and am very happy I chose the LG Studio line. The look is clean, professional and modern. The stainless seems of higher quality than most other appliance that are "stainless look". The touch panel is glass and very responsive. The door in door feature is great for storing your frequently used items. The storage capacity meets my families needs and is great compared to other counter depth models. It fits great in our standard sized refrigerator opening and I appreciate that it doesn't stick out into the floor space. It runs very quietly. The ice maker looked a little small, but it is fast and we have not ran out of ice since purchasing it. I did not realize this item will connect to your phone through wifi and nfs when I purchased it, but was somewhat disappointed when I figured out it will not work with iPhone, only android. This does not take away from the performance or function of the product and I'm not sure why I need wifi in my fridge anyhow. If that is a selling feature for you it may be important to note that it isn't compatible with iPhone though.

Not a smart Hub

This is a great idea but not as useful in practice, the peak through (not hub) panel forces you to be mindful of your refrigerators organization as inside appearance more than you should.

We’ve had this fridge for a few weeks now and it has been great. No sound and the LG app is good for customizing settings and temperatures.

This appliance matched perfectly with our other appliances and is a good size for a small family. I do wish that it had a second, smaller drawer above the freezer, but unfortunately the one that came with that feature wasn't counter depth.

looks great, works great, but it's a little small with the counter depth. The freezer is especially small but I couldn't stand the full size fridge sticking out from the fridge area. I am happy with the product

Love the door in door feature, super easy and energy saving. Freezer puts frost on the food, so stuff always has a layer of ice on it, really sick of that. We'll see how it holds up.

I had to replace my 5 year old French Door 29 cu ft Whirlppol due to water and compressor issues. We did a lot of research. It is smaller inside which took some getting used to. However, we have more room in the kitchen which is a bonus. It's quiet. We love the easy access door. Just wish there were more spots for juice boxes/pouches. Love that the icemaker no longer takes up a portion of the fridge.
The freezer is just as spacious as the Whirlpool. I love the drawers and easy glide of everything.
I just wish the water was colder.

I needed a smaller fridge to fit through a small doorway. This one was perfect fit; however, the smaller capacity has been challenging.

Love this LG fridge so far. Plenty of space for a counter depth fridge. That was my one worry. Finger prints still a little hard to clean but overall I would buy again.

We were looking for a counter-depth that had good use of space. We got more than expected. I love the ice maker, door in door design and the pull out drawer. We have had it in our new kitchen for 4 months now and it is still holds up to our 3 kids.

Will not get cold enough

This is the second LG refrigerator I have exchanged. The first one would not go below 37 degrees. This one will not go below 38 degrees. It got worse. I followed all instructions. Level, adequate space around and inside the refrigerator for ventilation, door seals tight. I've reset the refrigerator and waited 48 hours. Do not buy this model. The inside will not go below 38 and by the "instadoor" will not go below 39. They should not advertise this as a 33 degree refrigerator. LG support wants you to leave it at its default setting of 37 degrees and live with it.

We did not like this refrigerator because the crisper drawers were very small and the two top doors would not open all the way for easy access. Also, it had way too much freezer space vs refrigerator space and this was not the best thing for our family's needs.

I was fortunate enough to get this fridge as a floor model and saved $1000, so that definitely helped. The see through door is very cool, and I like the knock twice on the see through door feature that turns the light inside to see what is in there. The only draw back is that the french doors do not open as wide as the older LG model, but is good enough. I also set up the app to see what the temp is, which is a cool feature too.

Very quiet. Logically laid out shelves and drawers. Extra drawer in freezer compartment extremely useful so that finding items so much easier.
