    Pretty Close To Perfect

No dishwasher is perfect, but this one comes pretty darn close. It's quiet, powerful, reliable and has the little creature comforts that make life better. For example, the silverware basket has dividers to keep the silverware from nesting, so it all gets clean and the 3rd level top tray keeps mug lids from ending up on the bottom of the dishwasher. The steam feature is a game changer and the air-dry setting helps circulate air overnight so no spots and standing water in the morning. The light inside is surprisingly useful. I also really like the way they did the rack dividers, which can be made wider than standard plate size for chunky items, or dropped down flat when you need to get large items set in. I can load almost twice the amount of stuff in this baby and it all comes out sparkly. Some things that take getting used to: --- The menus are stuffed full of features and the icons aren't super obvious, so keep the manual on hand until those fully sink in. --- Some of the menus have a second feature that only kicks in when you hold the button down, you get a chime but no visual which means sometimes you're not sure what you did and you have to hit cancel and start over --- The rinse aid dispenser doesn't have a preview window so you just fill until you see liquid come up into the channel filter

I would give this 4.5 stars if I could. This is the quietest dishwasher we’ve owned (coming from a Bosch). It does a really good job cleaning, just wished it dried better after it’s done. It also has handy lights in it to make it easier to see inside.

This dishwasher is amazing!! If you’re in the market, this is the one!! It’s literally silent when it’s on, the only time I can hear it is when it’s draining. It’s so quiet that I tried putting a dish in it while it was on because I thought it was off and got sprayed lol

We bought this a year and a half ago and it was way out of our price range . We pretty much had no choice . Our dishwasher broke durning Covid . We were not able to get one that was 6-700$ due to no stock and them playing catch up . The only ones available were the expensive ones . So I took a shot and bought it thinking “ well it should last a while” considering the price . Well I was wrong . It still works but the LED lighting on the display has failed . At the end of a cycle it reads END ours says [ l D . The E is missing the middle line and the N is just a line . Also the rack is rusting as you see in the pictures . I would expect this to happen 5-6 years down the road but not a year and a half ! This is the first time I bought a LG product. It is also the last !!!

I was looking for a very quiet dishwasher, with 3 racks, and heat dry. Has it all. Washes fairly well (no dishwasher is as good as hand scrubbing though). Racks look much more sturdy than my 2 previous KitchenAid. Lights are very nice and useful, and it's super easy to use as well. As I read, drying is not always 100% (some water may remain on top of items), but that also means drying wont be as harsh on plastics (not as much heat). Haven't tried the Extra Dry mode. Cycles a little long too (couple hours), which is not an issue to ne. Installed it myself and it took me a few attempts to figure out how to install the sound proofing, I wish instructions were more accurate, and that it was built in the US, Overall, after 1 month of use, 5 stars, no hesitation.

-Near silent. -The adjustable middle and top racks really help customize the machine to your specific needs for every wash. -Quad arm really gets the dishes clean. -Easy installation, did it myself. -Lots of room, enough for a full day of dishes from feeding a family of 6. -Still getting used to all the settings. So many options. -Overall, very happy with this purchase.

After researching all the higher end Dishwasher options from Bosch, KitchenAid, Samsung, LG, GE, etc, I landed on this LG Studio. There are 3 key things that made me buy this and also now make me happy that I did - 1. It is QUIET. I'd put it up against the equivalent tier KitchenAid or Bosch any day of the week. It comes with an extra sound dampening kit for the front kickplate of the dishwasher as well to help mute the water-line noise when the tub is filling, which is honestly the loudest part of the washing process. 2. The internal LED lights in the washtub are FANTASTIC. Makes unloading a lot easier because you never miss anything that's in the back of the tub. 3. The Folding prongs in the top and bottom baskets - They allow for large casserole dishes & pots with no problem. In my old washer the prongs were all bent in some way because at some point, a large bowl or dish was washed and it bent them. That's not an issue on this model at all. Bonus Feature: The top (1st) silverware tray that allows for a much more even distribution of water across dirty forks and spoons makes for a much cleaner set of silverware every single wash cycle. Bonus Feature #2: The LG ThinQ Connected Home capability makes getting notifications on my phone when the wash & dry cycle is complete really convenient and helps me stay on top of the dishes if there's more to wash. All up, this is the best dishwasher I've owned and I am glad I went with LG. If you're shopping for a washer in this price range, this is the one. Look no further.

Very quiet when running! The third, top shelf is great for kids cup lids, bowl lids, spatulas, etc. There is a light that comes on when you open the door which was a pleasant surprise, however, only stays on for about 30 seconds or so. Fingerprint resistant finish seems to be holding up. Overall, great product.

We bought this dishwasher to replace the loud and poorly performing dishwasher that came with our newly built home. This is honestly the quietest appliance we own in our whole house. Dishes come out dry and clean every time, and there are plenty of options for adjusting the racks inside. The steam setting is a must however. Highly recommended and won’t buy any other brand from now on.

Still fairly new but thus far love 1) how quiet it is; sometimes too quiet in that you may open it while running as you may not realize it; 2) love the 3rd rack. It's only for thin items, but helps with spacing for things like tongs/spatula's, etc. 3) the inside light. The only negative is I agree with some other reviews that on a normal setting, it doesn't seem to dry well. But have started using the extra dry setting and that seems to have improved it in that respect quite a bit.

We chose this unit for the stated quietness, the Wi-Fi connectivity including Alexa and iPhone integration, and for the very smooth operating drawers. The dishwasher is living up to all of our hopes. It is easy to operate, cleans well, drys about as well as any of the new models do and there is an overall feel of quality in the machine. We believe LG probably stretches the truth on the DB noise ratings as this supposed 40db model is about as quiet as the former 44db Kenmore Elite we had but either way it operates without creating a disturbance and the rhythmic water sounds are relaxing and in no way problematic even if you are sitting a foot away. Knowing the status of so many functions from settings to rinse aid status from your phone is a worthy feature. The SmartThinq environment LG is building up is actually causing us to purchase more of their products as the washer, dishwasher, dryer all can be displayed on our phones and are queryable via Alexa. Nice work LG! A final note, the iPhone integration offered via the LG SmartThinq app is really useful for those who are blind as it allows a blind family member here to monitor appliance settings via the iPhone via the iPhone's built-in VoiceOver screen reader. Thanks again LG for innovation that helps blind people get the most out of these appliances.

Overall happy with the dishwasher so far. It fits so many dishes and provides a lot of flexibility. Cleans the dishes very well. It looks great and is super quiet too. I only have 2 complaints and the first is pretty annoying. It doesn't dry the dishes well at all, like almost none. We have to use the overnight drying cycle to get it to do a halfway decent job. Second complaint is that the wi-fi connection setup is terrible. I haven't been able to getvit to work yet, and I'm in I.T. So based on all that, I feel that 4 out of 5 stars is appropriate.

More than worth a few extra Benjamins compared to typical washers. Wow. So quiet and barely audible, wife can’t stop checking on the washer to make sure it’s running. The auto setting gets grimy dishes and pots sooooo clean. The cleaning capacity and coverage are as good, if not better than $2000-2500 dishwashers we’ve had over 30 years. The steam feature is totally unexpected: spotless dishes —even in energy saver setting!——AND without any drying agent. Don’t need that extra stuff any longer. Just wow. This is the real deal esp for active home cooks.

I love this dishwasher! It cleans well and is very quiet - I have to touch the machine to feel it working - it's so quiet! The 3rd rack is perfect for those odd shaped and too-long items that never had a home before. The second rack is adjustable! It will accommodate larger bulkier items with a simple adjustment. And I love the LED lights! It makes filling/emptying the dishwasher more of a celebration. I'm happy with LG products.

We love this product. It is extremely quiet and has so many different energy saving options for different types of wash. The ability to raise and lower the racks allows for irregular and oversized dishes and pots to be placed properly. The light is definitely a commodity. Although we have a semi-smart home, we are yet to use remote start. We do like the notification when dishes are complete.
