I really wanted to love this dishwasher. I washes well, but no matter what setting you put it on, the dishes never come out dry. Big waste of money. Save yourself some trouble and buy a different brand. I should have bought a Kitchenaid. My old one never had this issue!

It does cleans the dishes great but the sound from the dishwasher is loud most of the cycle.

Failure at 18 months

Terrible and randomly stops working

Despite a certified tech visit from LG (who blamed the plumbing setup despite the previous washer working fine) and a plumber who blamed LG for maybe having faulty drain sensors. I can’t resolve this. At this point I’m throwing it away and replacing it with something that works as LG service is worthless.

It washes dishes... doesn’t dry.

It does an ok job of cleaning, but the dry cycle or steam cycle is completely worthless. This thing does not dry hardly at all. The $499 dishwasher it replaced did a way better job. Buy a Bosch. I wanted a Bosch but they were backordered. I should not have settled. Now I’m stuck with a $1000 dishwasher that don’t dry. But hey... they lights are nice.

Not cleaning as hoped for

Doesn’t seem to clean as well as our old KitchenAid. Will give it a little more time learning the best control setting to get the best results. If performance remains low I will be asking to return the 2 LG dishwashers already installed and canceling our third one

Called and wrote to LS support numerous times. They tell you they will ship a replacement part and then simply never do. This has been going on for months.

After much research, I found this Studio model from LG. It has a lot of the same great features like tub lighting, steam, and cycle indicator lights. It also has a stainless steel tub and it is half the price of the Thermador! I've only had it a week, but it does a fantastic job of cleaning and drying dishes and is whisper quiet. Very happy with my purchase.
