A High-Tech. Qulity Fridge, but Very Expensive

But it is priced about 3x of counter-depth refrigerators with the same quality and space. In this design, the depth of the shelves inside is small, but the bins on the door are wide enough to house small and large items, like a large bottle of OJ. Our old GE built-in fridge (which lasted 34 years (with some repairs mid-life) had deeper shelves and narrower door bis.

LG side-by-side is great!

This LG fits perfectly and is advanced beyond the old one in many ways: temp stability and control through the whole unit is great, unlike the freezing corner in the old one. The internal doors have soft-close and the ice maker in freezer door takes up minimal space with chilled water also available. the top new feature are the self-closing doors: just move it past the halfway point and the door closes! It is also quiet, lighting is great too.

A mordern refrigerator full of tech flavors

Wifi enabled, LG appliance app in iPhone enable user to remotely control its temperature. The cabins and doors are all with soft closing feature. The stainless front is not with muted stainless, it is glaring reflective, which is not what I like. I hope LG appliance can adopt KitchenAid's stainless material which display muted stainless showing elegance.

Not stainlesz steel as the title indicates, but stainless steel finish. Very disappointing. 2. Top cover has sharp edges in the back, be careful when play Round with that top cover. 3. Top cover is fasten to the body with 2 screws that need 90 degree screw driver to unscrew. I dont have that tool (installation team did not unscrew it). Unscrewing the top cover is not part of quick installation guide, easy to miss. Also, after installation amd hauling away of old frig, the purchase seems to be "done", no ?

I wanted to love it

Luckily I'm within the 2 year warranty as the freezer has stopped working twice. All of the sudden it's not maintaining freezing temps. Ice cream is melted and will not make ice. The repair record states the technician had to "replace sealed system parts". 98 days later I have the same problem and another technician has been scheduled. Samsung tried to charge me $400 for the visit until I reminded them the manufacturer warranty is 2 years! I cannot say I'm impressed with their people or products.

Worst Buy

On 7/8 I received an email stating the delivery had been changed to 8/2/25. I do not have a working kitchen refrigerator as my old Dacor stopped working. I called Best Buy, ultimately had to ask for a supervisor, and was told the computer changed the delivery date when it didn't know the fridge was at the warehouse. The supervisor found the fridge at the warehouse and said they would schedule the delivery for 7/12 if I would call back on 7/10. When I called back, they would not change the delivery date, and when I threatened to cancel the order, they said it would take 2 weeks to credit my AMEX card. So no fridge, and a max'd out credit card so I can't even buy a fridge from somewhere else. Great costumer service, Best Buy - or should I say Worst Buy!

Very bad installing

The back wheel was damaged, so the refrigerator cannot stand level. the top panel was damaged, it cannot close, so it with a big gap. I requested to replace it, but Best buy said they do not have it in stock and have to wait 4 to 6 weeks.

sleek fridge.

The door closes easily and when left ajar, it closes on its own. The door can be heavy if you put all the liquids in the door, so we opt to keep them on the lower shelf inside the fridge. No problems so far.
